Starting May 28, Beetroot House hosts a group photography exhibition by four friends from Thessaloniki, who have spent years travelling with a camera — and very different ways of seeing the world.
They’ve visited the same places, walked the same streets, yet each of them captures something entirely different. Through their photographs, distinct perspectives, personal details, and small stories gradually come into focus.
At Beetroot House, the four photographers meet once again through their images and invite us into that conversation.

Tiny design, big recognition! 🤩🏆
Yiayia and friends expands its universe with the new single serve sticks and

Our Yiayias would be proud 🤍👵🏻
Few contemporary brands manage to integrate gastronomy and design with the level of coherence achieved by @yiayiaandfriends .
Every product — from olive oils to artisanal pastas and vinegars — appears to belong to the same carefully constructed visual and cultural language, where aesthetics never feel detached from origin, craftsmanship or identity.
Created within @beetrootdesign , the Thessaloniki-based studio internationally recognised for its work across design and communication, the project translates a deeply conceptual creative philosophy into the language of food.
We spoke with @vagelisliakos , co-founder and creative director of Beetroot, about process, visual culture and the construction of a brand where every detail appears intentionally connected.

There’s been an uptick in single-serve packaging, from premium condiment sachets to beautifully designed shot-sized supplements, but nobody in the olive oil space has done anything close to what @yiayiaandfriends pulled off with their single-serve sticks designed by @beetrootdesign .
Each flavor gets its own saturated block color, making the range function as a color-coded system you can read across a kitchen counter at a glance without ever squinting at the small print.

@yiayiaandfriends brand universe is as vast as it is charming, centered around its eponymous talisman, Yiayia. The Greek lifestyle brand has extended its folksy, whimsical world into the tea space, with adorable yet tasteful packaging that brightens your spirits, counter, and cupboard.
Partnering with the Greek tea company Symbeeosis on the product and Greek agency @beetrootdesign on the packaging, YiaYia and Friends organic Greek mountain tea leans into its Greek roots in key ways, but feels welcoming to all, given the fantastically inviting and timeless YAF universe.

Motion, rotation, light and continuity, built around a common center.
We partnered with the Myconian Collection team to create their new identity.
The new logo system orbits the brand’s initial “M”. Inspired by the iconic windmills of Mykonos and the mediterranean sun, each hotel finds its own unique place, forming a living visual system.
You know what’s just around the corner? It’s summer 💨🐚☀️

In collaboration with @antipodes_books and @filmfestivalgr , we’re excited to host this special presentation at Tiny Talks Thessaloniki.
In 2012, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the “liberation” of Thessaloniki, Yiannis Karlopoulos began compiling an archive of postcards depicting the city from the early 20th century through the 1980s–1990s, when postcards gradually faded as a means of communication. Alongside them, he gathered articles, books, and audiovisual material tracing the city’s history and everyday life.
Part of this archive is presented chronologically in the book, narrating both the transformation of Thessaloniki and the evolution of typography and printing techniques—from chromolithographs and photomechanical prints to real-photo postcards and four-color offset cards.
More than a record of a city that no longer exists in the same form, the publication proposes a way of reading visual technology alongside political and social history. It stands as a tribute to the unseen craftsmen of this fading art and to the letter writers themselves: French soldiers on the Macedonian Front, Thessaloniki’s Jews, Athenian excursionists, immigrants to America, tourists, friends, and relatives.
Join us for a journey through images, memory, and print.
On Saturday, March 7 at 20:00, we welcome Dimitris Mougos for a talk about his journey and his work in photography.
Born in Thessaloniki in 1984, he studied Photography and Audiovisual Arts in Athens and completed postgraduate studies at Goldsmiths College, London. Since 2012, he lives and works in Thessaloniki and is co-owner of MOUGOS Image & Communication.
In 2023, his first photobook “Kana Dio Fotografies” was published by Petites Maisons, followed by solo exhibitions at the Thessaloniki Photobiennale and in Athens (in collaboration with Cinobo).
