I'm moving accounts! i have been thinking about how to reconnect with my art process and be more active on social media so in order to do so i am starting fresh in the new year with a new account :> please consider giving it a follow! Right now it's @beetlespritey but i will change it to my old username soon -- tagging it in the first slide so you can see!
i won't be deleting this account (yet) and will be following some people on the new one. I'm gonna try to get a backlog uploaded of my non-wc stuff because I'd love to try to build a name for myself with my original stuff and in general non-warriors artwork. im not really interested in warrior cats anymore but i hope many of you will choose to consider supporting me!

glados i drew back in may because of some joke me and venex made. at the same time, tumblr had a feature on desktop (that probably still exists but is made less prone to accidental usage) where if you pressed the "r" key, it'd auto-reblog the post (repost/retweet for the final fantasy 14 fans in the audience).
if you HELD DOWN "r," the post would be repeatedly auto-reblogged for what i can only assume to be at least 20 times per second. tumblr also has a daily post share limit, including both original posts and reblogs, last i checked it was like 200 or 300 but that mightve been changed. i feel it's also worth mentioning that this can only happen on desktop tumblr, which also has a very easy-to-use mass delete option.
so the original drawing got a modest amount of notes, so i thought it would be funny to write in an extremely translateably jokey tone an addition that was to the effect of, "glados LOVES the R key! be sure to HOLD DOWN the R key for glados!" Naturally several people fell for this which artificiality inflated the notes on the post and destroyed my notifications. glados or portal was trending for a bit also, which i will modestly not claim responsibility for.
at some point in the weeks following tumblr changed the feature to "ctrl + R" instead, and naturally i made a workaround addition to this nerf which pranked a bunch of other people too. it was funny. i got several death threats that were probably in jest but still insane to send to a stranger, both on and off anonymous.
anyways i love this image still and it still gets its rounds alongside a house of leaves/lego island joke post i made whose notes are frequented by people who dont know about the lego island bit. also i dont care about house of leaves. thats it thats the post. if you got this far leave me a kofi or subscribe to my patreon because im working on a webcomic and need the income. thanks

im currently trying to get more practice in csp and to just draw badly more so that i can at least make SOMETHING. the hopsong (slide 1) has a ton of mistakes but im happy with it because i finished something. considering opening 25% off artistic freedom commissions to practice more but i have to make the graphic.
