The Stump is:
* The largest chunk of tree and rubber intended for percussion you will find!
* Weighs 5-6 lbs.
* Too big for most snare stands
* Leather patch
* Kiln dried so it won’t crack
* Stained blue by beetles
* Crack or “check” is filled with blue or green epoxy for stability
* Bark removed and sanded smooth to reveal the true live edge
* 16”-17” diameter 2” tall hand harvested beetle-killed pine from Colorado
* Each wood disc is milled, sanded, and oiled by hand - no two are the same
* We use natural danish oil so you can feel and repair the wood easily - not plastic coating lacquer
* 13” round 1/4” thick 100% recycled car tire rubber playing surface
* The 2” thick wood resonates and the pine is buttery soft
* The only drum pad “painted” by beetles - no two the same
* 100% hand made from 100% American materials
* A reclaimed, environmentally helpful, green practice pad
