Terminal 3, Delhi Airport. My flight was about to board in 20 minutes. Everything was done, luggage checked in, boarding pass collected but I was feeling very low. I walked to the lady at the boarding counter, showed her my boarding pass, and said, “I want to cancel my flight. I don’t want to go.” Surprised, she asked, “Are you sure?” “Yes,” I replied. She made a few calls and then said, “Sir, your boarding has been cancelled. We have also taken out your luggage. Please wait for 20 minutes for some formalities, and then you can leave the airport.” For the next 20–25 minutes, my mind kept fighting with itself. Somehow, it convinced me: You’re already feeling low anyway. What worse can happen? Just take the flight. So I went back to the same lady and asked, “Can I cancel my cancellation and board the flight again?” She smiled a little and asked once more, “Are you sure?” This time, I nodded with a smile. The flight was from Delhi to Moscow ,my first time in Russia. After landing in Moscow, I saw a few cold and unreadable faces, but honestly, that’s exactly what I had expected. But what waited ahead was something completely different. From Moscow, I took another flight to Astrakhan, and from there, a four-and-a-half-hour road journey to Elista. I was exhausted by then. But slowly, the landscape began to change. Endless green fields. Shepherds walking with their sheep. Beautiful weather. Fresh food. Clean air. And above all, people with warm smiles and welcoming hearts. It all felt surreal. Those few days felt like a beautiful dream, and somewhere inside, I thanked myself for not cancelling the trip. And yes… I met this giant boy too.

Brilliant performances by Sailendra Samantaray and Sivani Sangita — their innocence and chemistry made every moment feel real. And honestly, the performances of Hara Rath and Suryamayee Mohapatra were something I didn’t expect… such powerful acting that truly touched the heart. 👏 Huge respect to the writer and director biswaranjan for beautifully delivering an Odia film that carries so much emotion and authenticity. And the music… after almost a decade it feels like we finally got songs that stay with us even after leaving the theatre. 🎶 Proud moment for Odia cinema. ❤️🎬
