After 164 hours without power or heat, NES finally got my basement apartment reconnected to the grid.
It'll be another night before I can comfortably stay inside. Its gonna be well below "NOPE" range overnight here, and my little space heater ain't gonna knock the chill that's set in already, much less keep up with 15° cold tonight... Can't like it at all!
Fortunately I've got @smackmystitchup up warm house to keep me cozy one more night.
Also her cat...who is a menace but is adorable but is also a menace. Pretty sure he's a gray tabby running on Siamese software.
(Also don't judge my snacks... I eat like a toddler when I'm bored and left to my own devices)

It's a happy bonus that the beer is great AND they have pizza and soft-serve.
I'm safe at home and in my own bed for the first time in 6 days. I'm tired, my head is swimming, my body is sore, and my liver is absolutely polluted but nothing in the world could wipe the smile off this face right now.
Thanks to each and every one of you who found me and gave me great hugs and awesome conversation. Already looking forward to doing it all over again next year. 🥰
