13.1 miles later: The girl who said she’d “never be a runner” just became a half marathoner. 🏅
This was easily one of the hardest mental and physical battles I’ve ever faced. At mile 9, I was ready to throw in the towel, but my girl @griss.mode stayed right by my side and got my head back in the game. I had to ask myself: “Am I willing to do what it takes?” The answer was a resounding yes. 💛
Years of heavy lifting. 👏🏽 Strength training kept me injury-free, and proper fueling kept the engine turning when the miles got dark.
Huge shoutout to the @run.nf crew for the Sunday pushes! We did that! Been consistently running since March. Proud of us all achieving our personal goals. ✨Got an amazing support system 😍

@run.nf showed up with the biggest run group at the event, and for so many people this was their very first race ever. Watching people push through the heat, doubt, nerves, and every excuse in their head was honestly the highlight of the day.
That’s what this community is about. Challenging yourself. Showing up scared and doing it anyway. Proving to yourself that you can do hard things 😤
It was hot. It was tough. And we all beat that little voice telling us to slow down, quit, or stay comfortable.
