Across the four sessions, participants got stuck into the essentials of bike maintenance from safety checks and brake adjustments to gears and chain repairs. All while building confidence in a supportive space!
One of the best parts has been watching everyone become more hands-on with their bikes and leave each session feeling more knowledgeable and empowered to tackle repairs themselves.

What a day at Cycle Fest 2026! 🚲
Cycle Fest, hosted by Station South, brought together rides, workshops, DJs, art and hands-on bike activities as part of a city-wide celebration of cycling culture.
We led a street art ride through South Manchester, exploring some of the city’s most colourful murals, hidden gems and creative neighbourhoods by bike.
From rolling through local streets together to stopping off at some incredible pieces of artwork, the ride was all about celebrating cycling, creativity and community. It was great to see riders come together and experience Manchester in a different way.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the ride so much fun!

🚲 This Sunday is our final Intermediate Bike Maintenance Workshop with the absolute legend, Mary!
We’ve genuinely loved running these sessions and the feedback has been incredible. Over the past few weeks we’ve tackled brake cables, gear cables, bike diagnostics and this week… chains 🔧⛓️

What a weekend! 🚲🌞
We had such a lovely time at the May Day celebration organised by @mud_cic this weekend. From our super cute balance bike sessions to fixing and tuning bikes at our Dr Bike stand, it was brilliant to spend the day with so many amazing families and riders.
We loved meeting you all and seeing St Margaret’s Playing Fields full of people enjoying the sunshine, good vibes and community spirit. The food, market stalls and activities were spot on too.
Big thanks to everyone who came by to say hello, get their bike checked or let their little ones zoom around with us. We’re already excited for next year! 💛

Last Saturday in Trafford the blossom was so gorgeous!! Our ride, led by the lovely Charlotte, went along the canal in the sunshine to Sale. We even got a free coffee and cake at Waterside Arts!! 🎂☕️
