🎉 This past weekend, the Gallery hosted the reception for “The Thread Between,” our new exhibit featuring the works of long-time artistic collaborators and friends Jean Sbarra Jones and Rebecca Orcutt. New Exhibition now at the Gallery, open October 22–December 10, 2025! 📣 We’re excited to present “The Thread Between” featuring Rebecca Orcutt ’15 and Jean Sbarra Jones. Rebecca and Jean first met at Gordon College, beginning as professor and student. Their ongoing creative connection has now come full circle in this special combined exhibition. Rebecca’s paintings have been exhibited internationally—from New York and Amsterdam to Copenhagen. She has been recognized by the National Portrait Gallery (London) and was a finalist for The Bennett Prize for Women Figurative Realist Painters. Jean has exhibited widely across the U.S. and is represented by Alpha Gallery in Boston. Rebecca Orcutt invites us to explore human relations within settings where they are often overseen or missed. Long hallways and cold office lights frame movements and small interactions.⁠ ⁠ Orcutt received a bachelor’s degree in painting from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art in New York City.
