Best day trips from Nice by public transport 🇫🇷💙 I’ve explored the French Riviera both by car and by public transport, and honestly, both have their advantages. But if you can’t drive or simply don’t want to, this guide is for you. Luckily, so many places on the Côte d’Azur are easily accessible by train or bus, making day trips from Nice super convenient. 📍Villefranche-sur-Mer Take the train from Nice-Ville or Nice Riquier station — only 8 minutes away. 📍Menton Train from Nice-Ville or Nice Riquier station (~37 minutes). 💡Tip: Villefranche + Menton work perfectly together in one day. Do Villefranche in the morning, then head to Menton for the afternoon and sunset. Another great combo is Menton + Monte Carlo since they’re only ~20 minutes apart by train. 📍Èze Village The easiest route is Bus 82 from Palais des Expositions or Bavastro. It drops you below the village, then it’s a short 9-minute walk up. 💸 One-way ticket: €1.70 Alternative: train to Èze station + Bus 83/Uber up to the village (less convenient from Nice). 📍Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat Take Bus 15 from Lycée Massena to Port de Saint-Jean. For Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, get off at Passable/Rothschild. 📍Antibes Train from Nice Saint-Augustin station (~15–20 min). ✨ Bonus: Cannes is only 10 minutes further on the same line. 📍Saint-Paul-de-Vence If you have extra time, it’s worth it. Train to Cagnes-sur-Mer + Bus 655 (~1h total). ⚠️ One place I personally wouldn’t recommend as a day trip from Nice: Saint-Tropez. Summer traffic is intense and public transport takes around 3 hours. The ferry is the best option, it takes only 1hr but return tickets are around €80. Save this for your French Riviera trip ☀️ ©️ No reposts allowed. Slow mornings in Ras Al Khaimah ☕️🍃 Waking up to sunlight pouring into our villa, quiet walks on the beach, breakfast floating in the pool, and nowhere to rush to. @ritzcarltonalhamrabeach feels less like a hotel and more like a private retreat - peaceful, intimate, and designed for slowing down. One of my favorite luxury stays in Ras Al Khaimah for anyone looking to fully switch off and enjoy the softer side of the UAE. /ad @visitrasalkhaimah @ritzcarltonalhamrabeach @heartofrak #ritzcarlton #visitrasalkhaimah | dubai staycation | uae staycation, luxury hotel in uae, best hotels in ras al khaimah

Florence with all its raw energy.. 🎨 On our last trip to Italy we stayed in Rome and then in Florence and we didn’t have anything planned as it was quite a last minute decision. Andrea was working (remotely) in the morning and we would go out in the afternoon. Walked a lot — Florence is super walkable — stopped for an aperitivo here and there and just enjoyed the normal life in this beautiful city. No packed itinerary, no pressure to “see everything.” Just slow mornings, early dinners, busy little streets, the sound of glasses clinking outside restaurants, and that feeling Italy gives you when you let yourself slow down a little. Sometimes those end up being the trips you remember the most 🇮🇹 #Florence #firenze #florenceitaly | cinematic travel, florence but cinematic, florence, italy,

POV: your weekend in Ras Al Khaimah looks like this ☀️ Private pool villa mornings, afternoon tea with a view, floating breakfasts under the sun, bike rides around the resort, and sunsets that make you want to slow down for a while. @ritzcarltonalhamrabeach is one of those places where everything feels intentionally calm and beautifully done - the kind of stay where you forget about schedules and simply enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for a luxury escape in Ras Al Khaimah that still feels peaceful and secluded, this is it. /ad @visitrasalkhaimah @ritzcarltonalhamrabeach @heartofrak

Cinque Terre in one day (the route that actually makes sense) 🇮🇹 Start your day by taking the train from La Spezia - super easy access to all 5 towns. 👉 Book the 5 Terre Express / Cinque Terre Card online to avoid queues. 💸 Prices (2026): €22 / €29.50 / €35 depending on the day and season. Includes unlimited train rides + hiking trails (worth it if you’re stopping more than 2–3 times). Single tickets: €5–€10 each so it adds up fast. 🚉 Stop 1: Monterosso (start here) Skip the mistake everyone makes (starting in Riomaggiore). Monterosso is calmer in the morning and has the best sandy beach. 👉 Optional: hike to Vernazza (3.7 km, ~2h, incredible views). On peak days it’s one-way 9:00–14:00. 🍝 Stop 2: Vernazza (main stop + lunch) The most picturesque village. Grab lunch, wander the harbor, and climb to the stunning viewpoints. 🍋 Stop 3: Manarola (longest afternoon stop) Relax, explore, and don’t miss an aperitivo at Nessun Dorma (join the queue via their app—no reservations). The view is worth it. 🌅 Final stop: Riomaggiore (sunset) End your day here. Golden hour is unreal - arrive early to secure a good spot. ⚡️ Extra tips • Stay in La Spezia → more affordable + smoother logistics • The 5 Terre Express runs between La Spezia ↔ Levanto (March–November) • Only add one hike max (Monterosso → Vernazza is the best) • Want Via dell’Amore? Book a timed slot in advance (Riomaggiore → Manarola) 👉Save this for your day trip to Cinque Terre! ©️No reposts allowed. #cinqueterre | cinque terre guide | cinque terre itinerary | cinque terre day trip

Florence is one of those cities where you could wander endlessly and still feel like you’ve missed something. This was my second visit and I still have a lot to explore. Here are some of my favorite things to do (and eat) while you’re there: ⛪ Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) - Free entry to the cathedral, but expect long line. 🍨 Affogato at Vivoli - Espresso over gelato for ~€6. There’s usually a line, but it moves fast. 🌅 Sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo - One of the best views over Florence. Gets busy, but worth it. 🖼️ Galleria degli Uffizi - A must for art lovers. Book in advance to skip the lines. 🗿 Galleria dell’Accademia (David) - Seeing David in person is incredible. 🎬 Cinema Odeon - A beautiful mix of historic cinema and bookstore. 🌉 Ponte Vecchio - Iconic bridge with luxury jewelry. Best early morning or late evening. 🛍️ San Lorenzo Market - Leather goods. Great for browsing, but quality varies. 🏛️ Piazza della Signoria - An open-air museum in the heart of the city. 🥪 Try a schiacciata or lampredotto - You’ll find them everywhere—no need to queue for viral spots. 🍝 Restaurants to try * Buca dell’Orafo – lasagna * Regina Bistecca – bistecca fiorentina * Buca Lapi – traditional Tuscan * Za Za Trattoria – beautiful & budget-friendly 👜 Vintage shopping - Check Via dei Seragli or Melrose Vintage Ginori. 📸 Fotoautomatica photobooths - Fun polaroid-style souvenir (Via del Proconsolo, Via Santa Monaca, Via dell’Agnolo). 🍷 Wine Windows (Buchette del vino) - Over 150 in the city—try Babae or Osteria delle Belle Donne, Wine Window Matteoni 🍸 Rooftop bars * View on Art * Angel Roofbar (Hotel Calimala) * Loggia Roof Bar Save this for your Florence trip 🇮🇹 ©️No reposts. Inside the breathtaking Galleria Doria Pamphilj in Rome 🇮🇹 Entry is around €17 and tickets can be booked online. It’s 100% worth visiting for one reason: this is still a private palace housing one of Italy’s most impressive art collections, with works by Caravaggio, Velázquez, Bernini, Titian, and more - all displayed in their original baroque interiors. This video is from the stunning Galleria degli Specchi (Hall of Mirrors) - easily one of the most magical rooms in the palace. 💡Plus, it doesn’t get very crowded. We visited at 1 pm on a Thursday and it was very peaceful. 📍Galleria Doria Pamphilj, Via del Corso 🎟️ €17 #galleriadoriapamphilj #visitrome | must visit in Rome| What to visit in Rome | Museums in Rome

It felt so special to be back in Rome - my favorite city in the world - after a few years. Especially at this time of year, when the sun lingers a little longer, the air feels warmer, and the city is wrapped in soft cascades of wisteria. There is something about Rome that goes beyond its history…even though you quite literally walk through it like an open-air museum. For me, its beauty lives in the quieter moments: in the narrow streets just off the main paths, in hidden piazzas, in the everyday rhythm of life. In the way Romans speak, their colorful dialect, and the quiet pride they carry for what they know is the most beautiful city in the world. ❤️ ©️No reposts without permission. #rome #visitrome #romacittàeterna #romeitaly Wisteria in Rome, glicine a Roma, april in Rome, spring in Rome, primavera a Roma,

Staying @fstaormina San Domenico Palace felt like stepping into a dream. This former convent has been beautifully transformed into a hotel that blends centuries of history with effortless luxury, incredible hospitality, and one of the most breathtaking views in Sicily - overlooking Mount Etna. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave. Would you stay here? #fstaormina #fourseasons #visitsicily | four seasons Taormina, best hotels in Sicily, best hotels in Italy

My camera roll from the streets of Marrakech 🍊 This city is an endless source of inspiration, which is exactly why it remains one of my favorite places in the world. Wandering through the medina, passing stalls filled with handcrafted pieces, watching artisans at work, and taking in the colors, textures, and characters of everyday local life. Every corner feels like a photograph waiting to happen. ©️No reposts allowed. #marrakech #visitmarrakech
