American Sabotage explores internal fracture, how a society can undermine itself through polarization and identity conflict. The “sabotage” in the title does not refer to an external enemy, but to a process of internal destabilization. It’s polarization. Ego. Identity clashing against identity.
It’s not directly autobiographical, but it does reflect how I experience contemporary social tension. I’m fascinated and honestly sometimes disturbed by how quickly symbols can shift. Something that once stood for unity or pride can suddenly become a sign of division.

My work is based on creating a visual identity that doesn't reduce generational culuture to trends, but shows it as something authored from within. This work is about presence, attitude, authenticity, and the quiet power of choosing how to be seen. Together, my work functions as an archive of the presents. It preserves how a generation moves, connects, and reimagines itself before it is named, categorized, or reduced.
I'm also exploring data loss as both a visual and conceptual condition. What disappears, what becomes distorted, and what remains when information fails and how can new images emerge from this...

This punching bag is more than a training object: it is a sculpture that brings together strength, wear, and identity. The rough textures, layers of fabric, and graphic details reflect how we shape ourselves under pressure, blow after blow, until something new emerges. - @maison___kira
