We’re inviting applications from:

💕 Handmade & design‑led goods
🍜 High‑quality Asian food, drink & specialty products
Throughout the weekend on Sat 16 & Sun 17 May, you'll be surrounded by dance performances curated by Beeja Dance Company, live music and DJs at the bandstand curated by Drum the Bass, a daytime disco, outdoor arts and creative workshops - plus lots of hungry and curious audiences!

Something joyful is popping up in Whitgift Square this May
As part of Surprised!, Whitgift Square will be bursting with rhythm and movement from across Asia.
Whether you’re a dance lover or just passing by for a bit of shopping in the Whitgift Centre, this is a stop‑what‑you’re‑doing kind of moment.
There will be beautiful dance performances and vibrant costumes throughout the weekend including…
🌸 Flowing Chinese fan and water sleeve dances
🪶 High‑energy Gujarati garba and vibrant Rajasthani folk
🎭 Striking Sri Lankan and Balinese masked dancers popping up around the square
🔥 A bold Flamenco x Bharatanatyam fusion with live music
🥁 Plus celebratory belly dance, Persian folk, and more
