03-05/04/26 - @mcrpunkfest aka Manny Poo Fu as it’s known to our group. What a fucking weekend! MPF first entered our festival calendar 3 years ago now thanks to Buds and Tripsun and I can’t see myself ever not going. It’s a fantastic weekend of amazing bands across the lovely city of Manchester. I had an absolute blast with the crew and have already booked up for 2027! All the bands I saw were awesome and brought amazing great level of energy throughout the weekend an everyone is so friendly. I’ve loaded a selection of my photos of bands from the weekend. 29/03 - @donbroco Nightmare Tripping Release show at @circuitkingston_ put on by the wonderful @banquetrecords Apologies for the delay in post on this, but wow. What an amazing gig, if you know me you’ll know how much Broco mean to me. I think this was around the 64th time of seeing them, which in itself is mental. So seeing how much their music has changed over the years yet still remain such an influence on my day to day. Their set was brilliant, all of the released singles from the album were played along with some of their older hits. Banger after fucking banger. I had a lovely time. @nativejamesuk opened the gig and did a fantastic job of warming the crowd up, I’ve been a fan of Native James after seeing at festivals the last couple of years and he has continued to smash it. 12/03/26 - @hotmulligan at @roundhouseldn supported by @deltasleepband and @oversizeband What an amazing gig, Roundhouse is one of my fav London venues and seeing one of my current fav bands headlining there was fantastic. I love Hot Mulligan so much and they smashed their biggest UK headline show to pieces. They have a high ceiling and I am sure they will continue to breakthrough. Banger after banger of a set. Delta Sleep were the man support and I thought they were great, I wasn’t too familiar with them ahead of the show but thought they were great. Will definitely try to catch again in the future. 08/03/26 - @isa6elmaria at @signaturebrewe8 What a lovely intimate gig of some amazing upcoming artists. I first saw Isabel at the Bunker in Sunderland as part of Waves Festival last year. She is an amazing talent with so much potential l. Looking forward to what happens in the future. Unfortunately I’m unable to make the upcoming London show. The other artists on the bill were also great! 06 & 07/03/26 @friendfest_btn at @daltonsbrighton What a 2 day DIY music event put on by the mighty @makingfriends_official . Their set was also epic, it’s always amazing seeing a band smash their local city and see everyone enjoying themselves! I’m still recovering from the 2 days. I caught the majority of the bands across both days and everyone smashed it. Special shoutouts to @burnttapesmusic and @brutalligators who are both up there with my main bands on rotation at the moment. Both putting our great albums over the last 6months or so. If you haven’t checked either band out you should do. All bands smashed it and I will be trying to catch some of the others again in the future. 05/03/26 - @machinegunkelly at @theo2london supported by @juliawolfnyc Wow, what a fucking gig! MGK really knows how to put on a show. Stage setup, production, setlist, everything together was so so good. I’ve been lucky enough to see MGK local to me in intimate venues and also at the Royal Albert Hall. Even with him now reaching arenas I feel he is extremely underrated. You can just tell he’s having a blast. Julia Wolf opened and really took the opportunity amazingly. I’ve see her twice, once at Rock Werchter in Belgium and another at 2000trees. She’s brilliant and blends pop and rock so well. 28/02/26 - @thecallousdaoboys at the @theunderworldcamden with @knivesnoise and @loverarely I had been trying for tickets for months with it being sold out and luckily a ticket came up the night before. What an incredible gig, all 3 bands smashed it. The Callous Daoboys are special and are definitely on the up. The fact this tour sold out across the board just shows they’re onto a winner here. Supporting Shikari in the winter too will only bolster them. Setlist was amazing and the crowd were energetic throughout. Such a sick band. Knives were just before them and were brilliant. I didn’t know loads about them before but I will definitely be seeing them at 2000trees and keeping an eye out on their movements. Love Rarely opened and I only caught the last couple of songs but they seemed to go down great and I will definitely do a bit more digging. 🐝🎶👥 #gig #callousdaoboys #knivesband #underworldcamden

21/02/26 - @armslengthblues @benquadok @shoreline_band and @koyolihc at @logo.hamburg Third time on the Lengthers tour after London a Kingston before. Again what a great fucking gig! Arms Length smashed it as per, and gave everything into the final night of tour. Such a great band and have a high ceiling. Hopefully they come back sooner rather than later! Ben Quad have become my new favs, I was a fan before the tour but they have cemented themselves in my current top bands. So fucking good! They 100% need to come back later this year. Shoreline were incredible, the best time I’d seen them across the tour. Being back in their home country they sang their songs mainly in German and I hadn’t realised that they almost have 2 versions live. The crowd were lapping it up and you could sense this was a great show for them! Koyo were also really good and I will do a bit more digging on them as I definitely enjoyed more throughout the tour after knowing more of them. 18/02/26 - @biffy_clyro in Hamburg! I was going to Hamburg for a holiday with my mates conveniently on the 18th. My mates were coming from up north and were due to land late in the evening. I clocked Biffy were playing Hamburg so it would’ve been rude if I didn’t make sure I made it! As always, Biffy smashed it. They were brilliant, the sports hall was packed out and everyone singing along. It was lovely seeing the locals singing back every word. Love Biffy so much and looking forward to the Summer for when they play Finsbury with one of my other faves Don Broco. @bartees_strange opened for Biffy in Hamburg, and I really enjoyed him. A much calmer support in comparison to the UK supports. I thought he did a great job and enjoyed the acoustic nature of the set. 🐝🎶👥 #gig #biffyclyro #monthebiff #hamburg

15/02/26 - @armslengthblues @benquadok @koyolihc and @shoreline_band just down the road from me at @thefightingcocks . Put on by the lovely team at @banquetrecords Well what a fucking gig that was, feel privileged to be in such a small sweaty venue. All 4 bands smashed it. Arms length are just so fucking good live, their songs are so anthemic when the full crowd singing back. Ben Quad are fast becoming one of my favs in the scene, they were awesome again and have such a high energy about them. I’m sure they will continue to rise and definitely need to come back to the UK. 08/02/26 - Duck and Dive Festival @signaturebrewe8 Only was able to make the Sunday due to the stacked weekend of gigs I had planned. But I could not miss @youthkilledit and @carsickofficial both bands who I discovered at @2000trees_festival over the years. Both bands smashed their sets and the crowd were having a great time. Everyone should check both bands out, both live shows being the energy. Conveniently this week Carsick got added to support Youth Killed It in London in May.. so let’s go for round 2! Shout out to @thisissundaybest who were brilliant and brought out their A game earlier in the day. Will definitely be looking out for when they play again. Also shout out to @crysometimesxo and @airtightuk who both smashed their sets. I will be looking out for both bands and catching them where I can. Unfortunately we only caught the end of Carne and wasn’t able to stay for Tummyache and Hyphen. But am very much looking forward to Hyphen at Trees! What made Duck and Dive decent was the mix of genres and style of bands, my taste being diverse definitely helps but it was great having such a mix. 🐝🎶👥 #gig #youthkilledit #carsick #signaturebrew
