Thank you to everyone who brought their mom to the workshop, shared this experience with someone they love, and trusted me to create flowers for the people closest to their hearts. So grateful to have spent the day celebrating love, softness, and all the women who make us bloom.❤️🔥
This workshop was shaped by a quiet, enduring kind of love—the kind rooted in my grandmother, who fills me with joy in ways that feel both grounding and expansive. There’s something magical about coming home from the market with armfuls of unexpected, wild, unfamiliar blooms… laying them out together and completely fangirling over each one.
It’s never just about the flowers—it’s about sharing discovery. Introducing her to new textures, colors, shapes she’s never seen before, and watching her light up with the same wonder I feel. In those moments, I don’t just see my grandma—I see her as her youngest self, curious, open, completely enamored by beauty.
This workshop is an invitation into that feeling. To explore, to be surprised, to fall in love with flowers you’ve never met before—and to share that joy with someone beside you.

I’m so excited to finally present my Mother’s Day Floral workshop, Raíces y Pétalos 😭❤️🔥
I created this event to honor the love my grandmother has endlessly poured into me—the kind of love that has allowed me to bloom into who I am today.
I say this often, but I mean it with my whole heart: she is my floral muse.
The love we share has only deepened as I discovered my passion for flowers. And through that passion, I felt called to create a space where you can bring someone who has nurtured you in the same way—and design something beautiful, side by side.
This experience is also rooted in the stories of our immigrant families—those who came to new ground, encountering a world they had never seen before. I remember a conversation with a friend from El Salvador who told me she didn’t know flowers beyond roses and sunflowers existed. That stayed with me.
Because I’ve been given the privilege to walk through flower markets and witness blooms from Italy, Japan, Mexico, and beyond… and I don’t take that lightly. I want to share that world. To open that door. To offer something bigger than floral design.
At my root, this has always been about showing our families what they came here for: the freedom to choose a life filled with beauty, joy, and passion.
I can’t wait for you to bring your mother, grandmother, sister, or any mother figure who has loved you into becoming—and create something meaningful together, surrounded by some of the most special blooms I’ve chosen for this day.

Each ticket includes two spots: you and your person designing together and a portrait of you and your flowers.
