PROTECTING THE INTEGRITY OF VINTAGE SOUND
Lately, I’ve been alerted by colleagues and friends from Europe to China about a certain manufacturer using my name and Moby Transformers to sell their own clones.
They are reaching out to reputable collectors and engineers, claiming their transformers have the 'same performance as Moby’s.' This is a blatant lie and an attempt to hijack years of my R&D and craftsmanship.
To my community:
Direct is Best: The only way to guarantee you are getting a genuine Moby Transformer (BV08, BV11, etc.) is to contact me directly.
Verify Second-hand: if you are buying a mic or a part from a third party claiming it has my transformer, send me a photo first. I can easily verify my own work.
Don't be fooled: Cheap clones might look like the original on the outside, but the 'magic' is in the winding technique and materials they cannot replicate.
I value the trust of this community above all. Don’t let these ‘fast delivery’ shortcuts ruin your high-end builds.
Stay authentic.
