Playing my final show in Los Angeles on Sunday at @thesmell247 . For many reasons, I don’t wanna do this anymore. The algorithm will probably bury this post anyway and I’ve been exhausted by spending countless hours sending out hundreds of individual invites to friends who don’t show up. I’ve been here for 9 years and playing music for over 20. I’ve archived over 2000 performances I recorded of bands in this music scene and felt like I’ve been very actively involved in the community. I’d love to transcend from surviving to thriving, so I don’t become bitter about the whole experience, but the reality is what it is. I’m grateful for my time here and if you are grateful to have had me around, consider showing up to the show.

So great to meet Jeffrey Gibson yesterday at the Portland Art Museum! Probably the most famous contemporary Native American artist. Such an honor to cross paths!
Just a regular guy with a regular llama! We met while I was working at the Portland Art Museum and it turns out we’re related! Can you see the similarities? I always suspected I might be part llama! Ha. Think I’m doin’ alright. Oh and I just wanted to say thank you so much to all my friends in Los Angeles! I had the best time down there! I realized as soon as I got back to Oregon that I really love being in both places, so I’m hoping to start subletting spots down there for a month or two every couple months. Thanks for all the good vibes! Love you guys!
