Hello February and Hello 2026 Dates Yes, your favourite market returns on the second Sunday of every month from April till November…And you’ll notice for 7 of those dates we will be found on HARPUR SQUARE, it was an extremely difficult decision to make, but I couldn’t ignore the feedback of a high majority of both traders and visitors. Oh May, May, May! The sun came out in the end! Thank you everyone for coming out and enjoying the market today. Set those Sunday alarms!! ⏰This is your Saturday evening reminder that we are back on Harpur Square tomorrow - Sunday 10th May.Find vintage and antiques…artwork ranging from abstracts to illustration…locally produced food, drink, produce, homewares & skincare…AND fresh coffee We have delicious street food from:@char_catering and @cafe_dhabaPLUS free live music supported by the @cellarbarbedfordFirst up is @mygirltheriver then Fruit & Veg @chalk_cheese_band @freddiesbarnetFree parking all day in @bedfordboroughcouncil car parks 10am till 3pm - will we see you there??Laura ️P.s is Harry still around? Come to the market hungry everyone, because this addition is just ‍ @char_catering will be firing up their custom grill so we can all experience the Char! “Local to MK, Ben and Ben began Char catering to bring the rich traditions of the Argentine asado to the three counties! With their shared expertise in fire, cooking, flavour and diy they hand built the Char- the statement piece that draws the attention of crowds and cooks the master pieces served. May’s music is looking mighty fine!!We have @mygirltheriver up first. Artist, songwriter & producer Kris, will be bringing a lovely dose of Americana to the market ahead of their new single release ‘Heavy’ on 29th May and their album launch in September! Their track Up the Mountain is accompanying this post so enjoy ️Next up we have Fruit & Veg!“A new collaboration from Ampthill’s ever-rotating music scene, Fruit & Veg brings together the singer/guitarist of shanty legends Freddie’s Barnet @freddiesbarnet (recently name-checked on @bbcradio2 ) with the guitarist powerhouse of Chalk & Cheese @chalk_cheese_band (also with BBC exposure after their 2024 Xmas single).  Wielding guitars and mandolin, expect a mix of English shanties, Irish folk, country, western, blues, pop, rock and the kitchen sink!“It’s gonna be a good ‘un!!
