This record is so so special to me. It’s been swirling in our imaginations for a few years, and now it’s been released into real life it somehow still feels like a dream. Anna is one of a kind - she’s a visionary, an absolute boss, a truly great artist in every way, and really loves Jesus so much - it’s pure bliss getting to do this alongside her.
We got to make this with so many magical humans, and I couldn’t be more proud of it all. Moments like this just make me so grateful that The Lord would be so kind as to orchestrate this dream of a life. This record is a reminder of how sweet it is to live life with a best friend like Him. All the history, all the moments, and all the future…

These songs were written and recorded in a week (bar one) last summer. The world has changed with the seasons since, and this collection of songs seems all the more timely. They felt weighty when we wrote them, and yet they hold a whole new weight now.
Savannah, thank you for being you, and for being brave enough to talk about the difficult things, and to do it so eloquently and so graciously. These songs invite people into the magical universe that is your mind, and how you see Jesus and the world and really everything… and it’s so powerful. I couldn’t be more grateful to play a part in bringing that universe into the world. 🫶

full album out now. i pray it reminds you that you belong to another homeland, brings into focus the bigger story we are in and ignites the great hope we hold because the Lamb has overcome.
This song is almost too much for me. It speaks of a truth that’s just so beyond this world. I really don’t have words for it, the song really does speak for itself. It was a gift, and now it’s an offering.
The vocal is @kalleyheili as we were writing it, all the perfection and imperfection, the truth and the tears.
Most everything was from the day we wrote it, but then…. @antonioandallison ….. When I heard these strings for the first time, I got to the end and didn’t even realise I’d been crying. They couldn’t be more perfect and heart-wrenching and heavenly, as always.
This is an invitation into the tension.
A year ago - almost to the day - we wrote the first song for Fed By Ravens. The journey of seeking out these songs was a true labor of love. It was an absolute joy, and wildly challenging, all at the same time. Some of the songs were so sweetly and effortlessly gifted to us by the Lord, and some we really wrestled for. I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably say it forever; there is no one like Rita Springer. Her voice, vision, and her magical relationship with the Lord is where all of these songs begin and end. Not one lyric brushed over, not one melody by accident. I pray every moment of Fed By Ravens blesses the Lord, and blesses every person who listens.
Fed By Ravens doesn’t exist without so many brave and brilliant people. The slides for those people.
There is only one Rita Springer.
I couldn’t be more grateful, and maybe a little terrified, to be on this journey with her.
This song, and the ones to come, are a testament to her faithfulness through fire. And of the Lord’s faithfulness through that same fire, even if the kind of faithfulness didn’t look like the one that was expected.
Everyone involved in this is a wonderful creative and maybe even more wonderful of a human.
