We’re excited to announce that BECU and SAFE Credit Union are joining forces to become one credit union, combining our strengths to better serve our members and communities. Beverly Anderson, BECU’s CEO, will lead the combined organization from its Tukwila, Washington headquarters.
Headquartered in Folsom, California, SAFE is one of Sacramento’s fastest-growing credit unions and shares our “people helping people” philosophy. Together, we’ll strengthen investments to deliver enhanced products, services and experiences for all our members and communities – expanding our reach and making an even bigger impact on new members and markets.

Another proud year with the Spokane Lilac Festival Association!
BECU’s been a longtime supporter, and nights like these are exactly why: community pride, volunteer power, and people coming together to honor service and the next generation of leaders.
We’re grateful to celebrate a tradition Spokane holds so close.
Celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month with a FREE Rice Bowl at Más Pika in Renton! Choose BBQ Chicken, Pork Belly or Tofu Curry and savor the bold fusion of Chamorro and Yucatan flavors. While supplies last.
Owner Angela Chargualaf honors her Chamorro roots while blending Mexican influences into every dish. At Más Pika, Pacific Island heritage comes alive through unique island-inspired comfort food that celebrates the language, traditions and stories passed down through generations.
LOCKED. IN.
AquaSox right-hander Colton Shaw had an outstanding performance during today’s game against the Hillsboro Hops, throwing six innings of one-hit, shutout baseball!
We are incredibly grateful to Jeff and the team at @becu for their continued partnership and support of Cocoon House.
Last month, we had the opportunity to join BECU’s quarterly leadership meeting, connecting with over 100 leaders from their retail network. It was a meaningful time to share more about our work and the impact that community partnerships make for young people experiencing homelessness.
That impact came to life in an incredible way. Jeff led a sock drive across BECU, and today he delivered over 1,000 pairs of socks to support youth in our programs.
This generosity will make an immediate difference for the young people we serve.
Thank you, Jeff, and thank you to everyone at BECU who contributed. Your support is felt, valued, and truly appreciated.

Long‑term impact comes from showing up, year after year.
During Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are reflecting on what partnership really looks like. For more than 20 years, BECU has worked alongside Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) to support Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Our ANHPI Employee Resource Group has helped carry that work forward through volunteering, fundraising and walking alongside the community at events like ACRS Walk for Rice.
This month also marks the start of a new partnership with Culture Generation, a woman‑owned nonprofit supporting immigrant and refugee women food entrepreneurs across King County. Through food, culture and storytelling, they help small businesses grow while honoring the stories behind them.
From food banks to cooking classes and community walks, these partnerships remind us that lasting impact is built through trust and consistency, not one‑off moments.
Happy ANHPI Heritage Month.
Thank you to @becu for both their sponsorship and partnership. The BECU team makes real effort to support community-based organizations throughout the region, empowering individuals through education, workforce skills and entrepreneurism. We see you, BECU!
See you there!
