After printing the stitched plate I have added a layer of gold gilding wax to pick out the stitched details. These prints will be available to buy soon.

Hello, here I am in the room I use as a studio. I feel extremely lucky to have this space. Until recently it was my husband’s office and we shared it but I took over with my press. It’s unfinished (see the window) and always a mess (I’m suspicious of any tidy creatives). But it’s a place I can leave a project undone until I have time to come back to it. Details of my mini test piece. I tried printing a stitched collagraph onto fabric and then embroidered around the printed forms to add texture and interest.

My silver hare is back from the framer and heading to @no.2blossomstreet .
The details in this print were created by embroidering into the printing plate and sealing with shellac (not the kind you put on your nails).
