Been a while since I’ve checked in. After a few months, my foot has finally (mostly) healed 🙏🏻 Going to get back into some backpacking and hiking adventures that have been on my list for a while! Any suggestions? Need another big challenge!

Looking through some old pictures and this was such a great trip! First time to Montana and Wyoming, but won’t be the last. Unbelievably gorgeous 😍 I was really surprised how much I loved Yellowstone NP 🦬 Driving through seeing the mist of the geysers everywhere was unreal. Even caught Old Faithful just in time to see her go off!! The Grand Prismatic was really neat - if you look in the rising mist above it, you’ll see the rainbow colors in it. It’s a reflection from the bacteria below (bacteria gives the diff colors). Did not pack for the torrential downpour so trash bag attire it was #fashion 🤣 Grand Teton was breathtaking and I’m definitely going back to do more hikes there too 🏔️ Even saw a black fox on a hike which I didn’t know existed! Hoping to go back next summer.

Closing of a 5 year chapter! I’ve never stayed in one place for more than one year, ever…I thrive on change and spontaneity. But this chunk of time was needed. I met so many amazing people, most life long friends. Went on countless adventures and experiences together. From a private concert from the winner of The Voice Mexico during Covid, Christmas caroling door to door while icing them, prison yard workouts, lake campouts chasing donkeys, morning brunches in pjs at home, consoling each other during hard real life moments, partying on 20 ft flamingo floaties, wishing to see a shooting star during my 30th bday while we all camp together then seeing one!!….I don’t even recognize the person I was when I first moved in. Gosh, there were so many experiences in this place it’s hard to summarize, but I’m thankful for that chapter. Wouldn’t have ever imagined everything that happened the past few years and I’m so thankful, but I’m also excited to see what the next few have in store. #altaarmy #griffinfam
