Honored to have been a part of bringing this vision to life. Designed by @khwebbarchitects , this Vail mountain retreat is a testament to what thoughtful architecture and true craftsmanship can create.
Drawn first by the mountains, this renovation blends industrial warmth with alpine modernism.
The design balances grand scale with comfort, abundant light, sculptural details, and a curated art collection set against expansive natural views. Organic materials, glass, reclaimed wood, and soft architectural forms create a relaxed luxury rooted in nature.
A thoughtful balance between art and architecture.
A Vail Valley residence designed to blur the line between art, architecture, and landscape.
Sculpted on site in board-formed concrete, steel, cedar, and expansive glass, the three-story home was conceived to feel both distinct and deeply rooted in its mountain setting. Interior spaces were shaped around a nearly 30-year art collection, creating a dialogue between curated works and panoramic views.

Featured in this month’s @mountainlivingmag issue, a Beaver Creek project that transformed a once closed-off kitchen into an open gathering space designed for how the homeowners live today.
The build centered around two working islands and integrated custom cabinetry, reclaimed materials, and high-performance appliances suited for mountain living. The result is a kitchen that balances clean modern lines with the warmth and durability required at altitude.
In collaboration with Amy Salter of S3 Architectural Group and Annie Kern Interiors, we had the opportunity to reimagine a Chateau Lane penthouse in Beaver Creek. The remodel focused on improving flow and opening the home to its mountain views, with lighter materials and refined details replacing heavier original elements. Original woodwork was thoughtfully preserved and refinished, allowing color, art, and the surrounding landscape to take the lead.
An airy mountain sanctuary above Vail Village: an open layout, glass-panel staircase, expansive kitchen, and a design that blends modern lines with family-friendly function. A quiet, contemporary backdrop for a beautiful Western art collection.
