⚛️ Bechtel has been part of every era of nuclear energy and continues to deliver across every generation of technology that has defined it. From Experimental Breeder Reactor-I, the first reactor to generate usable electricity in 1958, to Vogtle Units 3 and 4, the first new large-scale reactors built in the U.S. in a generation, to today — advancing the next wave of nuclear energy: ✅ TerraPower's Natrium® plant under construction in Kemmerer, Wyoming ✅ Poland's first nuclear power plant, three AP1000® reactors at the Lubiatowo-Kopalino site, alongside our partners at Westinghouse and Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe ✅ Partnering with Tennessee Valley Authority and GE Vernova-Hitachi on a 300-megawatt BWRX-300 small modular reactor at Clinch River designed to reduce plant footprint by up to 90% and enable more cost-effective, repeatable SMR delivery Bechtel builds across the full nuclear fleet — gigawatt plants, advanced reactors, and small modular reactors — delivering what the grid needs, at every scale, in every era.

Over 5,000 colleagues at the Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant in Peru don't just talk about safety — they make it visible. 📷⬇️ In recognition of Construction Safety Week and World Occupational Health Day, our Bechtel teams at the East and West plants came together for safety fairs, mental health activities, and a human formation of a safety glove — a deliberate nod to hand safety, one of the most common and preventable injury risks on any jobsite. At the Yanacocha Project in Cajamarca, Peru, Bechtel is delivering two of the largest water treatment plants in the region as part of the progressive mine closure process of one of South America’s largest gold mines. Moments like this show what it looks like when that commitment is felt and practiced across an entire workforce. Way to go, Yanacocha team. 👏

Good morning from Thacker Pass! At Thacker Pass, Bechtel is building the infrastructure to bring America's largest lithium deposit to life — right here on U.S. soil.

68 miles. 186 mph. 35 minutes closer to Paris. In 2007, Bechtel helped complete HS1, Britain's first new railway project in a century, transforming how the UK connects to Europe. The historic St. Pancras station was transformed into one of Europe's largest passenger interchanges. The people who built it changed how a nation moves.

❄️ 30 Bechtel colleagues jumped into the Columbia River last month — the same river they show up every day to protect. Last month, our team from the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) took the plunge in the Washington Tri-Cities Special Olympics Polar Plunge, raising more than $25,000 to support athletes across the state. 🤝 The Columbia River is a big part of what makes this work so important. Selected by the @Energy , our Bechtel team has been designing and building WTP at the Hanford Site for more than 30 years — the world's largest and most advanced radioactive waste treatment facility. Using first-of-a-kind vitrification technology, our team is safely converting decades-old radioactive waste left over from the Manhattan Project and the Cold War into stable glass, so it never reaches the soil, groundwater, or the Columbia River that communities here depend on. And just last October, we reached a historic milestone — vitrification began. For the first time in U.S. history, nuclear waste at Hanford is being permanently stabilized. As Dena Volovar, president of Bechtel's Nuclear, Security & Environmental business, said at the time: "This milestone represents the realization of a vision shared by many. It reflects decades of teamwork, innovation, and partnership with our customer to solve one of the nation’s most complex environmental challenges — safely and permanently." Moments like the Polar Plunge are a reminder that showing up goes beyond the work we do on site — it means investing in the people and places we call home. Way to go, WTP team! 👏

🏗️ 90 years ago, the Hoover Dam was completed — a project many believed couldn’t be done. Built during the Great Depression, the project created thousands of jobs, while also controlling the Colorado River’s floods. Nearly a century later, the Hoover Dam continues to generate power for 1.3 million people today. As part of the consortium responsible for the project, Six Companies Inc., Bechtel helped deliver what would become its first megaproject — a defining moment in our company history. At the time, it was the tallest dam in the world and the largest masonry structure ever built: ✅ 4.4M cubic yards of concrete (equivalent to 5,000 football fields) ✅ 45M pounds of reinforced steel ✅ 726 feet tall ✅ Finished 2 years ahead of schedule The Hoover Dam taught us what's possible when perseverance and ingenuity meet a challenge that matters. Ninety years later, we carry that same spirit into today's most complex projects, pairing more than a century of data and process with emerging technologies to solve the infrastructure problems of our time — and the next century. Link in bio: Learn more about the megaproject that started it all.

Women in Construction Week may be wrapping up — but the stories stay with us. 👷‍♀️ 🗣️ We heard about 25-year careers that began in the military and grew into leadership on major project teams. We heard from someone who knew in kindergarten — posing in a hard hat and dreaming of becoming a construction worker — and made that dream a reality. From early ambition to decades of experience, women across Bechtel are building what matters. One of our colleagues captured the feeling many shared this week: “When I first put on a hard hat, I felt myself becoming part of something much bigger than me… There’s nothing like standing beside teams who are building something that will matter for decades.” That sense of purpose — and the people behind it — is what makes this industry so extraordinary. If you’ve ever wondered whether this industry is for you: it is. Come build with us. 🤝 #BuildWithBechtel

👷‍♀️ This #WomeninConstructionWeek, we're celebrating the women at Bechtel and across our industry who are leading, building, and delivering some of the world’s most complex projects. Women make up just 10% of the U.S. construction workforce. But at Bechtel, that number is nearly 30% — and climbing. We’re focused on creating more pathways for women into high-impact careers across our business because we know that strong teams build strong projects. We also know that the range of backgrounds and experiences across our workforce strengthens how we deliver for customers and communities around the world. And this week, we’re handing the mic over to the women that make it possible. 🎙️ 📱 Follow along as our Bechtel colleagues share what it means to build a career in construction — the real stories, the day-to-day experiences, and why they’re proud to #BuildWithBechtel. Learn more about our people. Link in bio.

Another bridge in the books — our eighth trail bridge with @bridgestoprosperity in Rwanda is now complete. 🌉✨ For years, the Giswi River made it difficult and sometimes unsafe for families to reach school, healthcare, and markets. Now, a new 120-meter bridge is providing safe, year-round access for the Mutovu community. Our Bechtel volunteers partnered with @bridgestoprosperity and local residents to build the bridge and spend meaningful time with students and families along the way. 🤝💛 Grateful for the partnership, the community, and everyone who helped make this possible.
