What's your reflex response?
For the past couple of years I noticed my reflex response to pain was to hold the source of the pain to numb the area for a couple of secs that the pain is heightened and I honestly don't know how I got there but I've done it over and over and it works for me. I just press hard, real hard like I'm trying to stop blood flow and hold for a couple of secs subconsciously and let go gradually. So I kinda reintroduce the pain to my body gradually.... That's something😂😂
