This is our trusty @blue_bird_buses that we drove from the Arctic circle to the end of the world in Argentina. Over 8 months we traversed all kinds of terrain in this tough yellow vehicle, picking up hitchhikers, inviting friends and strangers to join this challenge.

Meet Hydra - a cute capybara living at @wichabai in Guyana. I had the pleasure to meet her a couple of months and shared some time swimming with her in the lake. Travelling along the coast on Rocha, Uruguay we came across a small turtle rescue centre where we learnt about the different species found in Uruguay and got to see some that had been found injured on the beach that were in recovery. This small slice of tranquility was quietly making a difference for the turtles in the area. #conservation #uruguay #turtles #adventure #southamerica

As the sun began to set between the hilltops of Salto del Penitente the foxes emerged from the bushes. They were not afraid to approach us and they were inquisitive but a little shy. I first visited Colonia del Sacremento 8 years ago and I never thought I’d be back just a few years later to update the @bradtguides for Uruguay. It was great to be back in such a colourful town steeped in history and cobbled streets.
