“صوتي | Mijn Stem,” the latest performance by 2026women, took the stage at Arenberg on March 26th and 27th during the International Tribunal for Crimes Against Women.✨
This powerful spectacle was created in just four days by 40 women from Antwerp, Barcelona, Marseille, and Rotterdam. It wove together the languages of its participants—Arabic, Urdu, Wolof, Spanish, Basque, Italian, French, Dutch, Berber, Slovak, Portuguese, and more—into a vibrant tapestry of voices.
Directed by Alix Konadu, with musical direction by Céline Di Maccio and choreography by Katja Pire, the production was brought to life by an all-women team—musicians, technicians, set designers, costume artists, and producers.
“Sauti – My Voice” was a celebration of love, hope, resilience, and sisterhood. A testament to the strength of women united in art and purpose.
