I had my mind blown this week at @cpcarrillo_ My industry compa @big_elmer gave me an open invite to come check out at the facility when I saw him at the LA WekFest… Then Honda Day came to town and Cindy of CP Carrillo put out another invite for the Honda racers to come take a tour, I missed out AGAIN. This week that all changed when I got to see behind the scenes. I came I thinking Elmer was going to show me around, but guess who gave the tour? The man himself Peter “Snake” Calvert! 🤯 All that to say, they even let me record a bit while I was inside! Be on the look out for something few people get to see first hand.

King of the Hammers is around the corner, that means a lot of teams will be out in the desert. I was out with the homie @trey_d_gibbs and just so happened to randomly have some other friends pop out to test! My face hurt from smiling when I saw @stevenol1987 of @clinicalracing and my boy @retro_fabworks Don out here far from home. Too cool! You better believe we hit up the Barstow Del Taco on the way home.

I’ve been blessed through my years to build a lot of different cars. Each chassis provides a new feel & ideas, ensuring no 2 are the same. As the industry style trends change so does life. Late night garage sessions discussing & executing builds takes a backseat to adult priorities family, work, & different responsibilities are the priority. I Absolutely understand this, it’s life. This particular build is no different, & when the owner is an old friend, finalizing it becomes mandatory, & for me it is personally special to have it back at the shop for the final stages, something started long ago. Many man hours have already been applied making the new updates & finalization a little shorter road. I am excited to finish his reality that like many, transitioned from his idea, to the back burner consumed by a car cover. New & exciting ideas are flowing & I am eager to return his updated & finished design to him. Cruising Breckenridge and stumbled upon @southridgeseafoodgrill …This place was awesome. We were looking for a place to sit down that didn’t feel like a tavern inside with brewery style foods. We had the halibut special and the salmon. Boo had a berry mocktail, I had a mango margarita. Needless to say I ate the main dish before I could think to take a pic of it 🤷‍♂️, what I was able to capture before each plate was demolished is here… Whose been to Breckenridge, Colorado? The flyer for one of my favorite events was released last night, here is the current condition of the EF…🤷‍♂️. I’ve found reasons to deprioritize my project cars for over a decade. Although I’ve collected a few parts and a couple more chassis along the way, I’ve never put together anything that was “nice”. But this year is the 20th Anniversary of the Annual Honda Meet. Spectating isn’t an option this year. The event is 3.22.26 guess I better get to work.
