Systrar 🫶🏼🌸

Here are @at.home.with.lex ‘s versions—and I’m absolutely melting over how cute they are 😍
Welcome to my mini sewing series! Ep. 1: How to sew a concealed binding 🫶🏻
1. Fold your binding piece in half. Make sure you cut it on the bias (diagonally) — this gives your fabric more stretch and helps it sit smoothly on curves.
2. Align the raw edges with your armhole curve. Pin the folded binding to the right side of your fabric, then sew using your regular seam allowance (usually 1cm or 3/8”).
3. Trim the excess seam allowance to reduce bulk when turning.
4. Fold the binding to the wrong side along the seam, then pin and stitch close to the edge.
And that’s it! Happy sewing 🤎
