Less than a week until we kick off the first Collective Study at New Stadium. We’re linking up with @bebecle to get into the world of photographer @nadineijewere - specifically how she traded the usual fashion tropes for a focus on softness, joy, and a whole new perspective on beauty.
Think of this as part lecture, part living room hangout, and part cultural salon. It’s a space for the curious to step back from the chaos and dive into the work of the people who actually shift the needle on culture. If you’re around, hit the link in the bio to RSVP. Come through, grab a seat, and let's talk.
Exploring creativity through research and reflection…
Mid-month, Wednesday May 13 to be exact - we’re kicking off a deep dive into seminal works and the people behind them, past and present. The ones who didn’t just exist, but shifted culture and shaped the moment we’re living in. Think of it as an invitation to stay curious amid the chaos of the present.
Under the title 'Collective Study', we’re bringing together thought leaders, creatives, artists, architects, fashion and business folks to unpack the work and individuals that have moved things forward.
For the first session, fashion designer Cleo Williams will lead a deep dive into the photography of Nadine Ijewere, under the theme: “A Turning Point: Reframing Fashion Through Nadine Ijewere’s Softness and Joy.”
Part lecture, part living room, part cultural salon - come through curious, ready to engage, reflect, and tap into the first chapter of an ongoing series at New Stadium.
More details soon. Hope to see you there.

something Cleo mentioned in her interview was how she doesn’t feel the need to chase the younger version of herself because she’s grown into a version of her that she’s way more fond of. The idea of always trying to appease the mind of who you were when you didn’t even know yourself all too well has become a common practice but it’s not necessarily always the right one. Allowing yourself the opportunity to grow, change, and develop your dreams, wants, and needs should be something we all consider more.
so open minded and kind @bebecle@shopsoapstudios
