I have a new solo 12" coming out in May. This is the first in a new series of self-released records that I started on my own imprint almost 11 years ago....very excited to get this up and running again. It will be followed by a couple more 12" and then a new LP. The tracks on this release were selected from recording sessions ranging from 2010 - present. I've uploaded 'snippets' of each track on my soundcloud. Link in bio and here:

All releases will be distributed through Rush Hour.

Sonics is super pleased to present another evening of raw, gritty, hardware driven, live electronic music for your ears on Thurs 18th June, welcoming Chicago based Beau Wanzer to Hastings for one of his live sets along with special guest, Container.
@beauwanzer@socialcontainer
Beau Wanzer has over the years had work released via such influential labels as L.I.E.S. Records, Rush Hour and The Trilogy Tapes (as part of Garum and Borez), self-releasing his most recent albums and frequently collaborating with a wide range of artists. For the past 20 years he has run Chicago club night Hot On The Heels as resident DJ and curator.
“Molecular biologist by trade, the American producer tinkers with his analogue gear like a mad scientist; slicing, dicing, drilling down and through the superficial dermis of raw machinic spurts and variedly sourced samples to extract a sizzling juice of fractured synthlines, frantic scope distortions and off-kilter rhythms that goes unparalleled these days.” - Inverted Audio
For those of you who experienced his blistering opening set for Shit & Shine back in February we’re also hyped to welcome back Container to a Sonics show.
Container is the long running electronic solo project of American-born now St Leonards-on-Sea based musician Ren Schofield. Combining his background in noise-rock and tape music with techno and rhythmic electronics, his sound is characterised by propulsive beats and liberal doses of distortion.
Container’s deranged sonic meld has been welcomed at club nights, noise basements, electronic festivals and punk shows alike. His music has been released on labels such as Editions Mego offshoot Spectrum Spools and he has toured extensively across the world.
Tickets available via @wegottickets
Limited capacity show in @brewingbrotherscourtyard
Onwards! 🙂🙌🏻💙

After trying to make this happen last year, we’re finally welcoming @beauwanzer to the island!
Coming straight from Chicago for his very first time in Sardinia!!
He’s been a real influence on us for many years, so having him here for a live set feels very special.
Known for his raw, hardware-driven approach, he crafts a sound that sits somewhere between industrial grit and psychedelic hypnosis. It’s not about easy moments—it’s about tension, release, and getting lost in repetition.
Closing the night, our local legend @scam____ at the decks!
@a.mmarot and myself hosting.
We’ll be back at @jester_club after the last one…still thinking about that!
Saturday 16th May, from 21 to 2
Entry 7€ at the door with CSAIN card
@restlesshours killed it as always 🌹
And last but not least HBD Spu!! @emanuelespunky 🎂
Next Saturday is the 20 year anniversary of H.O.T.H @californiaclipper
I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone who has performed and attended over the years. It’s been around 230 nights with 600+ live performances/dj’s. Kinda baffling when thinking back. Thanks for the support and of course thanks to @dannystavern for giving me the opportunity to begin with.
L.F.T. @love.fist.tears Chicago take over this week.
