Here are the highest-scoring, expert-approved stand-outs of the year…congratulations to the winners!
The Beauty Shortlist is 18 this year, and today marks 15 Years of the Beauty Shortlist Awards - time has really flown!
2026 is the strongest year ever for entries in the “Best New Launch” categories, probably the most “competitive” year overall (with some winners claiming the top spot by almost a whisker) and Wellbeing entries were up sharply.
Each product is judged purely on its own merit, so if a category features multiple winners it’s because more than one product genuinely deserved to win.
5 Notable Trends at the 2026 Awards
1. Nail formulas have hit an all time high on the natural/innovation front as Kure Bazaar and Manucurist’s vibrant shade palettes shine a new focus on actual nail care and repair.
2. Ancient Ayurveda has never been more modern, entries soared this year.
3. Just to be clear for any brands hoping for an extension - I know other awards do extend it "due to the high number of brands wanting to enter..."
We don't extend the deadline. We have an awful lot of work to do, especially on the admin side, as well as starting to properly test entries over the next few months.
