Meet David Clymo!
A ski instructor of 20+ yrs in Keystone with an enormously healthy appetite for LOCAL live music!
I met Clymo 7yrs ago at one of my gigs at keystone lodge & spa and he’s been a fan & great friend ever since. It turns out that I’m not the only one though haha, he loves sooooo many bands and artists but truly believes in the magic of supporting LOCAL live musicians at the same time as the national acts! Super cool!
During the bandemic the BTB recorded our live stream with @byronswezy & @leo_bassdrum in the home that Clymo lived and managed, a massive 2 house property right on the snake river in keystone. He was kind enough to let us transform the living room into our remote studio for 3 days. During the live stream we joked about being “live at Clymo’s house” and it stuck.
After 25+ yrs in Summit County Clymo decided it was time for a change and moved life to sunny California ☀️🌴.
On his last day in the high country we caught him with @loveprisphotos for a last minute photo and @pecosmccool turned out such a sick piece of album art!!!
Right before the release I sent Clymo a video of the unboxing of the EP and he sends me back a congratulations with a video of a bar corner musician(most of my gigs and how we met) from the town he lives now. Still out watching local live music weather he’s in CO or CA so it was pretty clear that we made the right choice.
This dude embodies the music lover in all of us. I for one need to get out and see more shows big and small. National & Local.
I feel lucky to perform in a community that cares so much about the energy that live music brings to life!
