Flying the modular ship HISS-X666 out to The Hague to dock with mothership @intergalacticfm this week ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐
Hard to express how influential the weirdo tones from Den Haag were upon me when I first heard them played out while living in Brooklyn. Fucked up 808 rhythms, screaming dissonant acid grooves, cheeky disembodied vocals and themes...I couldn't get enough and fell down the wormhole.
I emerged on the other side combining these elements with my own history of hip hop and punk/hardcore influences, and freeing eurorack expression with my own tone.
Super stoked to share these influences and bounce with y'all this week! ๐ค๐
M Parent (Philadelphia) brings his live modular setup to further explore his love of rhythmic feedback, industrial hip hop, and mutant electro. He has recent releases on a number of hard-htting compilations including tracks on Immortal Sin, Selvamancer, Gravitational Waves, and Flowtape.

'Down With The Mothership' has you trying to turn off warning lights, extinguishing fires, and gripping at your throat as the oxygen gets sucked from your body. The ship is going down. You're fucked โ๏ธ

V/A Compilation via Immortal Sin and the homies over at @squirrelsonfilm@tyrelwilliams@c.l.a.w.s._sf
Features some of my biggest inspirations out of Chicago in @acid_al_chicago_ and @hieroglyphicbeing as well as a collaboration between @c.l.a.w.s._sf and Kitti Von Paige. The record lovingly goes out to Kitti who I finally got to meet at Jackie O's Body School of Dance last year. They filled Krystal and my heart with as much creativity as much as they did silliness and compassion๐ค
Link to grab the record in bio. Love your friends and be kind ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐
Friday is Bandcamp Friday and you know what that means! Time to remind you all that I just released an album:) Today, Iโd love to share M Parentโs (@beaulezard ) remix, an scuzzy electro take on โStarting Over.โ Master of slithery, guttural acid, I feel like he truly nailed the apocalyptic vibe, while bringing the original track from cerebral brain dance to body boogie. Check out the whole track on Bandcamp! Just a reminder that buying music on Bandcamp is the best way to support underground artists, though you can stream the whole album on all the channels (even that oneโฆ) too.
๐ KOOL GUY ALERT ๐
Stoked to announce my latest release on @flowtape.rec as part of the second volume of their Survivors compilation series ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ

We can not thank Marty, label boss at Juanita, enough for putting this record out while battling terminal cancer. The passion and dedication he had for this release truly means the world to Alonso and I. Rest easy, Marty ๐ค

SATURDAY IN EXILE @earthlydelights.nyc
I've built a live set filled with howlin' unearthly acid delights for y'all to experience @exile.brklyn this Saturday ๐๐งโโ๏ธ
I haven't had a gig around Halloween in a minute, and I may or may not have leaned heavily into my favorite time of year even more so than I usually do ๐ ๐๐ป
Super bummed that Aura Nox and Milan could not make it stateside for this one. Stepping in as headliner is none other than the demonic maestro himself, Alex From Quwens (@capriccio.nyc )! His DJ sets have always possessed me to move my body in ways my arthritic bones never knew possible. The homie and EXILE main man, @seurat.dot , will be opening the incantation. If the tracks he has shared with me are any indication of what to expect than we are all in for a funky supernatural experience.
Step into the circle and live deliciously with us this Saturday! ๐๐น
๐ MEGA BELATED FRIEND APPRECIATION POST ๐
I just wanted to thank all the friends who traveled hundreds of miles to surprise this 40-year old reptile a couple weeks back. Truly blessed to have such talented and thoughtful friends by my side ๐
Can't thank my friends and family enough for coming out last weekend to @neu_body . First time my parents saw me play out since my high school metal days ๐ค๐ Philly, Pittsburgh, and NYC fam showed up and made me feel incredibly at home. Love yall so much ๐๐ฆ๐
Thank you to @neu_body for matching that level of warmth with every aspect of their party. Every member of the crew is so down to earth and talented. We forgot to take a pic together!
It's rare that parties book live acts these days with the DJ bloat taking over. So rare parties like these need to be celebrated! Hope to party in CT again soon ๐

Connecticut is the land of the Mohegan, Mashantucket Pequot, Eastern Pequot, Schaghticoke, Golden Hill Paugussett, Niantic, Quinnipiac, and other Algonquian speaking Indigenous peoples. And on this stolen land is where I grew up. From an early age, my parent's would bring me to performances on reservations of the Mohegan peoples in southeastern CT. I remember being in awe of the colors and dress, the tonal fluctuations of their songs, the movement of their dances. These performances were so enriching and life-altering at such an early age.
When I tell people I am from the so-called land of Connecticut, I already know the answer I am going to hear back. 'Oh, I've never actually stopped anywhere in Connecticut. I usually am just driving through to Boston/New York.' I can see why. If you're not going to school there or into the outdoors, you're probably not stopping. It's just not a capital 'C' Cool place.
Being unCool is how my life meandered its way into discovering Connecticut Hardcore. It was a well spring of raw energy, post-apocalyptic rhythms, and anarchist rage against the atrocities of the world. In high school, I ended up forming a band with some local friends and played a handful of shows around town. This was my first taste of performing original music, and I was hooked.
When I heard my friends had started the Neubody party in New Haven, I was ecstatic. If only one person attending their party is exposed to something as inspirational as I was back in my youth, then it would be worth it. Welp, the Neubody party has reached and blown many youthful CT minds, carving a niche New Haven didn't even know it needed.
I am extremely swooped to perform live at Neubody and in Connecticut for the first time since the metalcore band did in 2003. Also honored to be performing as part of the first iteration of Neubody's live series set of shows called DIN SYNC, an ode to the OG cable link in charge of alien communication between drum machines and synthesizers. I will be performing alongside a live performance by the Neubody supergroup B.O.D and a host of DJs.
Oh, also, the pizza in New Haven is capital 'C' Cool. See you in the fog CT!
