A few memories from the best strike mission I will probably ever do, all thanks to you mum!
Mum was over west helping with Leeuwin for a few months. There was a swell window, I had a fresh batch of boards and we both needed to go for a drive..
In doing so we packed the car quickly and off we went north first thing. How easy it was to go on a big drive you, it was never quiet haha
You got to spend your first ever night in a swag before you ended up upgrading to the glamping tent up on the hill! You coming down and watching the surf all day with me, so much you enjoyed
Hanging with you around the campfires at night with my mates, I would think how special it is I can spend time doing what I love with you there and seeing how much you enjoyed it and how stoked you were to be there with your son.
I didn’t know it at the time, but those days would end up being some of the best days of my life that I’ll forever cherish. I look forward to heading back there and having more special moments with you there too

This first photo makes me truely believe you were born for the role to be the mother to a big crazy family, and your face there says it all!
How lucky I will always be to be one of the sons chosen to come ride this wave with you mum, and what you left behind is so beautiful for all of us to continue to enjoy.
The void your absence leaves us with will be felt forever, though dad and us sons will hold it down for you and make sure all these beautiful grandkids get looked after and spoilt just like you would have liked!
