God’s promise on display turned into the timeless influence, and everything I’ve walked through led me to becoming this version of me. College tested me in every way possible mentally, physically, and emotionally but I never stopped showing up even when it felt heavier than I could explain. A lot of what I carried was unseen, but nothing was unseen by God, who carried me, and my parents, who became my strength when I had none and stood in the gap for me in ways I will never be able to fully repay.
From depression to moments of isolation, from early mornings to late nights, from smiling through pressure that tried to break me to rebuilding myself when no one was watching, I kept going anyway. And even in environments and moments that felt like they were meant to break me down, I stayed locked in on who God was shaping me to become. Grace made room for my becoming, and this journey didn’t just give me a degree it gave me growth, discipline, and a stronger faith.
Psalm 27: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? That wasn’t just scripture for me, it was survival for me in seasons where fear tried to take over but couldn’t.
I didn’t just make it through I was carried through, covered through, and kept through. I made the pressure look pretty, turned pain into purpose, and stood firm on the Word that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and if God is for me, nothing can be against me.
