This year, I'm a participating artist in The CONTACT Photo Fest 2026! @contactphoto
Drawing on oral histories, archives and documentation, as well as the collective memory of those who lived under dictatorial rule, this exhibition analyzes and illustrates the ways that my two motherlands - Portugal and Brazil - would combat existential circumstance through artistic manifestation. This is a show that is near and dear to my heart, and it is my sincere hope that you pop by and find something that my remind you of your own family archives.

A month ago, I received the news that I would be flown out to Los Angeles, California, to receive a prize for my work, The First Supper, at the Adobe 2025 conference.
This week was something that one only dreams of - from meeting icons of the industry, (@davidsuhphoto , @adam_theillustrator , @jamesgunn , @markrober ) to making worldwide creative friends, to bringing Canada to the big stage (esp. during the world series) I have had the experience of a lifetime. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity, and everything it had to offer. My most heartfelt congratulations to my fellow winners, you will always have a friend in Canada, and of course, thank you to Adobe for allowing dreams to come true. ✨🍁

I've had the adventure of a life time.
