Finally finished ✨❤️
I’m really happy to share what’s been going on in my studio over the past four months.
This piece is now the largest in my ongoing series of still lifes of my studio.
It’s 320 × 180 cm, and it shows a part of my studio shelves—full of the folk art I’ve collected over the years, along with all sorts of objects and memories.
It almost looks a bit like a cabinet of curiosities.

Honored to be part of the exhibition “The Rose That Grew From Concrete” 🌹@museo.santorsola in Florence, curated by @morgane_laforgue
Fourteen international artists were invited to engage with the unique history of the former Sant Orsola convent and create site-specific works responding to its architecture and past.
In the inner church of the museum, two of my floor pieces are now installed. They relate directly to the two works by Della Robbia that once hung beneath the twin domes of the church — one depicting Saint Ursula, the other Saint Francis of Assisi. These original works were moved long ago and are now part of the Bargello Museum collection in Florence.
My pieces mirror their scale and echo their presence, entering into a dialogue with the history of the two artworks that once filled this sacred space and reflecting on how stories migrate and reappear across time through contemporary practice.
The exhibition is open until January 4 — if you’re in Florence, don’t miss it.
