BTS OF A FOODIE WORKING FOR A FOOD TRUCK VENDOR
@beyondthevalleyfest @beatboxkitchen
Beatbox has been around for as long as I can remember, the OG of burgers before the burger boom. They are keeping is classic and at Melbourneās EOY party or āschooliesā they are serving party-goers a solid burger but how do they really keep up with the heat and queue? I donāt cook as you guys should know by now, but I wanted to see how these popular fast food group operate smoothly. I asked to work a shift to see how it goes down and safe to say, everyone was nodding from the instant fry bite taste test.
š THE RAPH burger 4/5
š BUFFALO CHICKEN burger 3.8/5
For a food truck at a music festival, I canāt believe customers are blessed to be enjoying insane quality burgers. Itās the STEREO sauce and the PATTY that shocked me. Medium cook on the patty, juicy and that stereo altho creamy, has a tangy kick that cuts through any heavy bits. They have a range of sauces and let me tell you I smashed through that entire tray of fries on my break bc I was having too much fun enjoying all the dips they had - stereo, chilli relish, relish or ketchup.
The day ran extremely smoothly bc the bosses here have the all temperature control and systems ready, and orders were out in literally 10 seconds. At some points, it was almost reverse ordering bc the team here are always listening out on the orders including any alterations. There were times of extremely long queues but not one person was frustrated or annoyed bc no one had to wait long.
Looking at the peopleās faces light up or nod when they had a bite of the chip, makes me realise why
@raphrashid is so passionate about cooking. Raph scares me, when itās busy, he gets fired up. He loves a challenge, he loves cooking, and it really reflects in the food.
Whilst I was most keen on a free entry to the music festival, as a foodie, this enlightened me about how hard working yet fun running a food is. I did not realise they are from the team behind
@juanitapeaches š fate is aligned
2026 is the year for growth and challenges. Letās go!
