Director of the Gamelan Orchestra: Peter Moran
Musicians: Peter Moran, Matthew Houston, Jonathan Lucas, Sergio Milani, Keefe Murphy, Sinead ‘Donovan, Abigail Smith, Sarah Walsh
Dr. Peter Moran is an international prize-winning Irish composer who has been playing Javanese gamelan for 20 years. He is Assistant Professor of Composition and Performance in the UCD School of Music, and he is the Musical Director of Ireland’s National Concert Hall Gamelan Orchestra. He founded the ensemble in 2014 when he arranged for a complete set of Indonesian gamelan instruments to be presented to the Irish people as a gift from His Royal Highness Sultan Hamengkubuwono X of Yogyakarta, Java.

Our Set designer: Ciara Kelly
Ciara is a Kildare-based Production Designer. She studied Production Design in ADT and graduated in 2023. She has worked as a designer on projects for the National Film School, BiggerStage, and Manas. She has designed Irish shorts like “With Love from Aidan” by Reuben Harvey and “Why the Sun & Moon Live in the Sky,” by Aisha Bolaji and the award-winning music videos such as Nightmares for artist Paddy Hanna. She has received awards for her work such as best production design at the student Royal Television Society awards 2023.

Our Stage Manager: Ruby Collin
Ruby Collin graduated from TU Dublin’s BA in Drama (Performance) in 2022 and since then has been working as a stage manager, props maker and facilitator.

Ruby has also worked as a facilitator with children and teens of all ages in projects such as Growing a Future, Creative Places MacUilliam and Alt Ents Children’s Festival.

Our Procuder: Sarah Wiley
Sarah Wiley is a Producer, Stage Manager and Drama teacher, based in Dublin.
Sarah Graduated from TU Dublin Conservatoire with a B.A (Hons) in Drama
Performance. She also studied at Columbia College Chicago, where she trained in
Stage Combat, Stage Make-up and Farce & Absurd Theatre.
Previous producing credits include ‘In Vitro’ by Aoife O’Connor, ‘RETCH° by Leanne Bickerdike, ‘Dog Shit’ by Bellaray Bertrand-Webb, ‘Blister’ by Siofra O’Meara, rehearsed reading of ‘Blister’ as part of SASH 2022, ‘Evaluation of Brian’ (Giant’s Garden Theatre), ‘It Iz Wot It Iz’ (Squad Productions), and she was Ass. Producer on ‘Birthright® by Nadine Flynn (Dublin Fringe Festival 2019).
Stage Manager credits include ‘Spirits Unsurrendered® (RIAM Opera and Then This Theatre), ‘An Triail (Fíbín, Axis Theatre), ‘Hamlet’ (DLR Mill Theatre), ‘A Natural Science’ (Fizz & Chips Productions), ‘Clearance’ (Queer Moon Productions), « The Spanish Tragedy’ (DYT, Upstairs Space The Project Arts) and has a long standing relationship with Feis Maitiú Dublin.
Sarah also worked as Covid Compliance Officer on Sticky Tape Productions ‘Mildly Different’.

Jess Fitzsimons Kane is a Dublin based lighting designer and stage & production manager. Recent lighting design credits include Aileen (Boys School, Smock Alley, 2024) 3 Winters (TU Dublin, Grangegorman, 2024), Country Music (Glass Mask Theatre, 2024), The Body That Breathes (Jane Hackett & Dublin Theatre of the Deaf, 2023), The Dead House (The New Theatre, Dublin Theatre Festival, 2023), Retch (Bewley’s Café Theatre, Dublin Fringe Festival, 2023), In Heat (The New Theatre, Dublin Fringe Festival, 2023), The King of All Birds (Project Arts Centre, Dublin Fringe Festival, 2023), and Spear (Dublin Fringe Festival, 2022). Some of her recent stage* and production management credits include The Oasis (GSA, Smock Alley, 2024), MotherKraft* (Project Arts Centre, 2024), The Dead House* (The New Theatre, Dublin Theatre Festival, 2023), The King of All Birds (Project Arts Centre, Dublin Fringe Festival, 2023) Hub Nub! ✨MEET OUR TEAM ✨ First up is our director: ARI BHATTI
Ari is a theatre-maker based in Galway. She received her BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance from University of Galway in 2020 and her MA in Shakespeare Studies from the Shakespeare Institute in 2022.
With extensive experience in direction, choreography and performance, her creative work focuses on movement-based storytelling and Shakespearean theatre. Recent credits include movement direction for Ciardg Productions’ ‘Pupa’ at Galway Theatre Festival 2024 and performing for Active *Consent’s & 2024 national tour of ‘How I Learned About Consent’.
