Keep the cozy comforts of winter going with this friendly neighborhood gathering where you can socialize and enjoy performances from two of my favorite local artists - @beasleydotcom and @dogmomlovesyou .
Beasley has been a friend and inspiration to me since my very first open mic, masked at the Fremont Abbey, December 2021. His songs and delivery have a raw emotion that instantly connect with the shared human experience. A true artistic spirit.
Dog Mom are newer friends to me, whose gorgeous harmonies I instantly fell in love with when I heard them perform at a Big Thief tribute night. Carrie and Kelsey make up this duo and their sweet energy is captivating, both onstage and off.
And I’ll play a couple songs to kick things off too! I’ve been wanting to open up our Queen Anne home in this capacity for a long time, but haven’t found the courage to make that happen until now. My goal is to encourage folks to come out who don’t typically attend concerts and offer up an intimate, low stress opportunity to support local arts and maybe discover a favorite new songwriter.
