February 1st, 2025 I unexpectedly lost my best friend.
I often referred to my Uncle Mark as a cat, he proved to have had 9 lives. Our family watched him stand at deaths doorstep too many times throughout his life, whether it was a blood clot in his brain, getting crushed by a mine loader, or endless blood sugar highs and lows, and more.
And he was happy. Happy for every day he never thought heād have.
Iām so thankful for the friendship and love he showed me throughout my life, it was no secret that I was his favorite and he was mine.
From attending as many softball games as he could and always bringing his famous chips and guac, to making me wake up early to hit all the yard sales before the games, keeping a Reeces in his cooler for me when we went to the hills, and teaching me all he could about silversmithing, it was clear how much he loved me.
There arenāt enough words to explain how much he means to me, and how different life will be without him.

Final paint reveal on the outside of the house! I think I love it! The front door changed the whole vibe and I think I chose the perfect cream color to accent everything. My brother has deemed this the āEgg Houseā since every color is similar to a chicken egg š #renovationproject
I LOVE this door color! And the cream I picked out for the garage and trim is absolutely perfect! Stay tuned for the final paint reveal! #renovationproject
