ProSpec TQ and Winner!
This is the final - a collision at the start finish gate put me in last place, but I managed to take the lead back in the first lap and take the win!

We are back racing for 2025!
and what a way to start! The introduction of @multigp 's Pro Spec has been a fantastic edition to the Canberra race scene! Epic, close battles with some of the best pilots in the region!
I managed to take the first win of the Season for Pro Spec! In what was an epic battle with 4 amazing pilots in the final.
A close start, with a crash after the holeshot allowed me to get out ahead on lap 1. I led the race into the final lap, when CGO managed to overtake on the first gate. We were neck and neck the rest of the lap until a mistake by CGO on the final gate allowed me to make the pass and take the win!
Who knows how the rest of 2025 will pan out, perhaps Pro Spec will be the class I focus on the most from here!
For this Pro Spec Race were were using @gemfanhobby Street League props. These things were solid every race!
@gemfan_winnie@divimathhdzero - The best video system for racing!
@vdrt_au - Legends supporting Veterans in the sport!
@vcihobby - Rock solid motors for Pro Spec
@radiomasterrc - The only controller for drone racing!
It's time to reflect on what has been a massive 2024 for Drone Racing!
From racing to commentary and even news broadcasting! it has been amazing!
Lets start with the racing results! The big one - 1st CMRC Micro Series. A hard fought series that got really close at the end. Well done to Timmytron in taking 2nd, and Nacho for taking 3rd!
Theres also a 2nd in the CMRC open class series, well and truely behind the great DaveyFPV on points. We had some massive races and some big name pilots turn up this season and proud to say I didn't finish any lower than 5th in any race.
These results then led to me being crowned Canberra's first Club Champion! It feels a bit undeserved with so many great pilots around me, but that is ultimately how it turned out!
At the Australian Drone National's I finished 36th - I will say I am pleased with these results, but I know I can do better. Being so involved in the overall event with Commentary and running races, its hard to actually focus on my own racing - so this year I took it upon myself to put the work in before hand. Training and preparation so that I just need to pick up a drone and go fly. I can certainly do more in this regards, but that is the key - preparation makes the difference!
The Airshows Downunder event was a similar story - more commentary and the racing coming 2nd. I managed to finish near the Top 10, which wasn't too shabby at all!
On the commentary front it was a big year - the big one, was replacing the great Joe Scully as the lead commentator for the Australian Drone Nationals. It was an amazing honour and I hope to did the job the service it needs. I love entertaining people and I love bringing my excitement for racing to others. Overall I love sport and sports analysis and doing this with drone racing is amazing. Being able to understand what is occuring and then putting it into words for others can understand is something I truely enjoy. Admittedly I just need to manage my voice and excitement levels a bit more!
The other big thing I tackled was the Drone Racing News - whilst my own YouTube channel dropped off on content I managed to do more over on the FPVBits channel and the Drone Racing Ne
Tough day in the office at the CMRC Nationals Qualifier. Broken Ribs and Antarctic Blast weather made the conditions pretty tough.
I managed my first goal of sub 40 seconds on the track, hopefully I can improve on that in my next time out.
