Continuing my (very) occasional series of "Richard has gone to a place for some kind of holiday-adjacent activity, and taken a camera with him", a few odds and ends from a day spent wandering around Chester a couple of weeks back. My Rolleiflex (which is the usual go-to for this kind of thing) is in need of a service, so my OM1n has had a bit of time out in the sun for the first time in ages.

My second attempt at @harmanphoto Phoenix in 120 (the first one being over on @beardycars ), and this time I gave it another stop over box speed. Still awkward to get the colours looking how I wanted, but I think better overall for the additional exposure. *Definitely* one you'll want to scan yourself though!

At least five years ago, @perry.scope and I had a bit of a wander round Barbican one evening and said we should definitely go back. A couple of weekends ago, we finally got round to it. There's a lot of modern building projects that could learn a lot from this place...
Another visit en route from Loch Lomond to Edinburgh was Cramond Island (and the causeway over to it).
Unfortunately we were a bit limited on time on the island due to the tides (the causeway disappears pretty rapidly as the tide comes in), but there was time for a bit of a nose around the WWII-era bunkers
