One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve had over the last few years: The highest ROI investment I’ve made wasn’t real estate, crypto, stocks, or private equity. It was investing into myself. Early on, mentors kept telling me to pay for proximity, get in better rooms, learn from people ahead of me, and invest into my mind. But I struggled with it because I couldn’t clearly calculate the ROI the same way you can with traditional investments. Over the last few years I’ve spent well into 6 figures on mentorships, coaching, masterminds, events, travel, and experiences. And the return has been bigger than anything else I’ve invested in. The relationships. The rooms. The skills. The perspective. The opportunities. The partnerships. The personal growth. The clarity. Most of the biggest breakthroughs in my life came from proximity, not speculation. If you’re in sales, trying to level up, build something meaningful, or break through the ceiling you keep hitting
