@joefromfords & @tessanne invited bartender friends to go on a beautiful boat ride off the coast of Marina del Rey. Tess shucked a few hundred oysters; Joe took on the role of DJ, and the rest of us were able to relax on our day off bartending.
When it was time for our hosts to finally relax, I was able to capture a moment when Joe, with eyes closed, taking a deep breath, soaking in the ocean breeze, gentle waves, and warm sun. It seemed like he was able to let go of a bit of the stress of the busy life in LA. 🍸🍸🍸

Transporting us back in time to the glamour and sophistication of 1920’s Shanghai. The stunning Garuda Wisnu Kencana provided the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable evening. With its majestic statues and breathtaking views, set the stage for an elegant affair. The couple’s choice to blend Balinese beauty with the allure of 1920’s Shanghai was nothing short of genius.
Classic libations like the “Gatsby Martini,” “Shanghai Sling,” and “Old Fashioned Shanghai” were on the menu. To complement the cocktails, the catering team served a fusion of Balinese and Chinese cuisine. Dishes like Peking duck tacos and Balinese satay delighted the taste buds, offering a culinary journey that celebrated both cultures.
