I usually struggle trying to figure out the background/color palette I want for these, and when I had the thought to make it literally IN adobe illustrator, it felt so fitting. adobe illustrator is my happy place 10/10 would recommend I usually get these done on my birthday, but ya girl’s a week late because I have been absolutely swamped with school! glad to finally get it done :D I am... 29 now. which is crazy. 2025 wrapped up kind of... all over the place. it’s been tough going since moving countries, but here’s hoping 2026 can only go up 🥺 biggest takeaway in the last year? just because you’re scared, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. you got this!!! till the next one ❤️ have a good one, y’all! #mta #beanscribs #illustration #artistsoninstagram

well, well, well - here it is! my #artvsartist for 2024 :D (yes I am using this selfie again. leave me be. it's the cutest picture of myself I've taken this year and I'll milk it to the moon and back 😌) this year's been such a whirlwind, to put it simply. a lot of things I thought I'd do I never did, but a lot more things I never thought I'd ever do but somehow managed to achieve it which is even crazier! including (but not limited to): 🌱 first time flying solo (somewhat, if you don't count my dad) to an international con - first time getting in and tabling at DOKOMI as well! 🌱 watching my following grow from 1k to 1.8k this year and getting to meet so many of you guys at various cons! thank you for always dropping by to say hi, to buy something, and for all your compliments and support!! you all have no idea how much your love for what I do keeps me going and continuously creating 🌱 started doing live commissions at cons + working a lot more w poscas/arrtx acrylic markers and watching myself get better and better with the challenge of commissions with each con 🌱 officially moved off et5y and launched my very own sh0p and watching the sales coming in in disbelief 🌱 bought a proper camera and started exploring doing little mini vlogs (I hope to do more of these in the new year!) 🌱 having the bluey team at sgcc bring over the bluey and bingo mascots to our booth for me to meet them (i was truly losing my mind) and then being gifted one of the soundtrack CDs! I truly keep that memory close to my heart because it really meant so much for them to do that ;; everytime I stop and think about beanscribs as my small business and as an avenue for me to draw and indulge in my nerdy little fixations it honestly absolutely warms my heart. I love doing this, so, SO very much and I hope I will always love doing this for years to come :'))) anyway, fear not, this isn't gonna be my final reflection of the year post (you guys know me and you know I love waxing philosophical at the end of the year so hold on for that one) and [markiplier voice] I'll see you - IN THE NEXT ONE!
