We headed to @chatel_officiel - last Wednesday as I am no way organised enough to make an edit the same day- and the @portesdusoleil
The area was amazing for the kids with miles and miles - 600km / 480km?! To be… not very precise.
Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday in January but loads of space when away from the “hubs”. The kids loved the Lil’ Stash & Home Run back to Châtel.
Lunch at the @avoriaz1800_officiel institution that is Changabang- needed as the wheels were falling off after “again again” resulted in one too many times through the Lil’ Stash..
Will be heading back to check out other resorts in the Portes du Soleil on another Shrednesday.

Bluebird powder day, but with avalanche risk high was happy to be cruising the pistes and of course… any excuse for lunch at @satsukichamonix74 before a bit of supergluing the wombat’s head back together after running into the underside of a barrier- watch your… Thud 🤕

SHREDNESDAYS - PILA
The goal this winter is to ride somewhere new each Wednesday (no school) with the kiddos.
Pila is just over an hour from Verbier, lots of great pistes for kids and great pasta for everyone 😋
I used to work here teaching for Interski back in the day - not exactly the same vibes with a 6 and 4 year old!
