We have been wanting to do this for a very very very VERY! long time. Ever since the beginning of Bean Bar, having handmade simple syrups made with organic clean ingredients has always been so important to us. High quality is what we strive for in all our drinks, food, simple syrups and sauces.
STARTING ON FRIDAY 24th you can get your own bottle of Bean Bar’s handmade simple syrup! The first 2 flavors available will be Plain & Vanilla. Our concentrated syrups are crafted to complement hot & iced beverages. This is going to bring your coffee, tea, and matcha game to the next level.
This is a huge milestone for us and a huge step into the future of what we would like to do for all of you.
Also you know we are all about
sustainability & repurposing.
Our glass simple syrup bottles are a standard threaded top. You can have so much fun with giving your glass bottle a new life. Here are a few ideas 💡
1. Refill it with vinegar & oils.
2. Put a pump on it and It becomes a soap dispenser, or put lotion in it or any other bathroom products that you like.
3. Use it as a diffuser
4. Keep the cap and refill it with spices.
And so much more you can do.

Not just because “ITS THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING!” but because we finally get to do one of our favorite things “change the menu.”
We wait for the season to officially shift, and then we go all in.
Bringing back your favorites, creating new ones, and making everything by hand with clean, intentional ingredients. It’s a reset. A fresh perspective. A chance to share something new with you.
And just like spring! we’re only getting started. New things will be dropping all week long.

Snow Update ❄️
Hello wonderful friends
We truly wanted to be open on Monday, we’ve been watching the roads, the weather, and doing everything we can to make it work. But with freezing temperatures overnight and the reality that many of our team members travel in from outside of Florence (some from areas that received much more snow), we’ve made the decision to remain closed on Monday, February 2.
While some streets may look clear, not everyone’s drive is the same. As a small business, one of the things we’re most proud of is putting our people first. Our team should never feel pressured to risk their safety just to get to work.
We are so sorry for the inconvenience, and we truly thank you and appreciate your understanding. Please stay warm, stay safe, enjoy your snow day.

Well… the past few days have been a bit of an adventure. Between an unexpected ER visit. Then Mel needing emergency gallbladder surgery, life reminded us (rather loudly) to slow down and take care of ourselves. Thankfully, everyone is on the mend and the timing couldn’t have lined up more perfectly with something very important to us.
✨Our annual January break for our incredible team. This break is our way of saying thank you — for the long holiday hours, the early mornings, the late nights, the love poured into every cup, bagel, and customer interaction. It’s time for rest, adventures, family time, and a little reset.
📍We will be closed Wednesday the 7th through Tuesday the 13th. We’ll miss you all dearly, but we’re so excited for our team to recharge and come back refreshed.
❄️ Fun fact: almost exactly one year ago today, there was snow on the ground. So whether it’s winter weather or wild life moments, January always keeps us on our toes.
Sorry for the late post on everything that’s going on. My very angry gallbladder got in the way, but the team at McLeod was amazing to us. Thank you all for your constant support, understanding, and kindness. We’ll see you soon 🤍

Sip happens… and we wouldn’t change a thing.
The past year was full of moments we’ll never forget. Like the time it literally rained in our bathroom, on our customers. Thanks to a surprise HVAC leak. Or the time one of the owners meant to order six boxes of straws and instead ordered six cases, leaving us with enough straws to survive several apocalypses. Or the unforgettable afternoon when a giant skink decided our back door was his new home and it took five of us, a lot of screaming, and zero dignity to safely escort him out. You know what? Sip happens.
The good, the messy, the hilarious, and are you kidding me? moments. They are all part of the story, the journey. What gets us through every single one is “you guys, our team and sharing our moments/stories together.”
To celebrate the years behind us and the ones ahead, we created something special. Our first hat. A small reminder that life isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty wonderful when you face it together.
Here’s to a New Year filled with warmth, laughter, good coffee, and all the great sips “even when sip happens.” Happy New Year 🤍✨
