● Exhibited at BRUTAL from April 7 to 13, 2025, Via Umberto I n.80, Varedo (MB), Italy
More than just a brand new object, Dora feels like something that has always been there. It is an artifact that evokes the memory of a distant and never lived past, a relic of industrial archaeology, an object shaped by time, revealing its future while only hinting at its past.
A long process of material experimentation, aimed at capturing the suspended atmosphere of forgotten places, culminates in two closely related finishes, where the material’s decay is crystallized in a precise moment.
The vitrification of concrete is a unique technique that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Applied to the table’s surfaces, it is extremely hard and deeply expressive, as if it has preserved not only the nature of the material but also its im perfections and the silent imprint of vegetation.
The black calamine steel is deliberately left to oxidize and then treated to permanently imprint the rust ontoits surface, like a tattoo.

Gentile di Puglia wool textiles are soft sanctuaries that cradle children into sleep, offering both security and comfort. A celebration of slowness, they embody a more humane and sustainable approach to creation and consumption. In an age hastening to forget, they stand as a reminder: time devoted to care is never time wasted.

Two objects—linked to rest and play—represent moments of security, freedom, and imagination for many children around the world.
But elsewhere, not so far from us, childhood is shaped by war.
Here, the silhouette of a rocket is not an abstract symbol but a stark, everyday reality. In these places, brutality is not an exception but the norm, and violence is an inescapable backdrop.
A cushion and a rocket—ordinary domestic objects meant to comfort—take on an unsettling, almost brutal form.
Yet even the smallest, quietest objects have something to say.
Even a cushion and a rocket can be a statement—a cry amid the noise of the world.

The envisioned Opera seeks to embody the fragility of our contemporary era, offering both a critical and a hopeful perspective on nature’s instability.
At its peak, the column gives way to a space designed to collect—not disperse—rainwater.
This resulting basin becomes a focal point: a haven and vital source of sustenance for nearby insects and small birds. It symbolises a place of pause and renewal, a role Architecture itself can embody.
The design gesture aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange, breaking free from rigid conventions to create an Art that reasserts true priorities: message first, to provoke reactions and stir emotion.

“Temporal Ellipses” is a series of three mirrors that symbolize the different stages of the day: morning, afternoon and night.
Each piece is made up of two halves arranged at an angle, creating an optical illusion that allows the viewer not only to see themselves reflected, but also to capture realities in motion, evoking the constant flow of everyday life.
The work invites us to explore temporality and the continuous changes of the becoming / future, transforming space into multiple realities.
Inspired by the brutalist style, the series is based on the geometric base and the honesty of the materials, where each component is essential for the integrity of the work. The chosen colors reinforce this narrative: a light mirror evokes the dawn, a warm one represents the afternoon and a dark one captures the essence of the night.

THAYA means “wind/air” in Aymara, a language of the Andean region.
This collection is a dialogue between stone and fiber, where opposing elements—softness and strength, fluidity and solidity—merge in harmony.
Shaped by the whispers of mountain winds and the silence of vast deserts under a thousand stars, each piece embodies the raw essence of the landscape.
The softness of merino wool contrasts with the sharp presence of alabaster, onyx, and other stones, while light bridges these materials, illuminating their natural fractures and revealing the soul within.
Each piece is one of a kind, carrying a story sculpted by time and tradition. Handcrafted with ancestral techniques, THAYA honors the legacy of nature and craftsmanship, inviting connection through touch, light, and form

This lamp is made from intestines with holes and wrong size, leftovers from the sausage industry, demonstrating how an ancient, traditional material can be Innovatively repurposed.
While intestines have historically been used in handcrafted objects, today animal intestines by products are found in various modern products such as paints, sandpaper and ink.
This lamp shows how, through craftsmanship, something raw can be transformed into something light and elegant.

“Like a Floating Stone” is a project by @rerere_lab the creative collaboration between @vacuum_atelier and @taramellisrl
This object is a manifesto—where recycling meets the technical and compositional potential of a material: recycled drywall, assembled without adhesives or binders.
The result is a raw, unpolished form that redefines drywall’s essence, pushing it toward a mineral-like transformation that amplifies its expressive power.
The stacked layers—blocks upon blocks—evoke an ancient, almost primal logic. Rough and unrefined, it challenges our understanding of materiality and reuse.
Defying definition, it obscures its origins—its material, its time. It feels ancient yet contemporary, natural yet artificial, monolithic yet fragmented. An industrial material, reimagined through artisanal craftsmanship.
Brutally honest, it embraces its rawness without coatings or embellishment. Stark is yet poetic—caught in its ambition to become stone.

OLIO is a new, evolving body of work centred around mixed metals, using natural bronze, white bronze, and brass together in one form. Each piece is hand sculpted from clay or wax, and then cast directly to preserve each deliberate fold and crevice of the texture, in various metal mixes.
The name itself, OLIO, evokes the viscosity and sensuality of oil as the metals melt and mould themselves around one another, giving life to a molten piece of art.
OLIO series is a collection of sculptural vases that is made using scrap metals discarded during typical production processes. This body of work aims to marry circular design and high art.

“Which Side Are You On?” challenges the relentless urge to take a stance.
Its dual backrests may momentarily unsettle the user, who instinctively focuses on which side to lean against. Yet, in truth, the choice makes no difference: the experience remains unchanged.
With its striking, unembellished form, the chair asserts itself as a singular structural statement.
A Seat for Two Minds embodies the user’s inner complexity, suggesting that, despite its dual design, the experience ultimately reconciles both reason and emotion.
