The album artwork for U GET WHAT U PAY FOR depicts the band as it was where we were- we wrote this collection of songs together last summer in the living room in my old apartment. She was dark, cramped, and cozy. We were younger then!!
An album can be such an intimate portrait of a moment in time and I believe this one is. A snapshot of songs as we played them at the time, words that I meant at the time or some months prior, all informed by what we were hearing, thinking, feeling then. Thank you @helalalena for this fantastic capture to accompany our songs. It felt like the only appropriate move.
