~ fold paper in half across width
~ fold each end into the centre so that the paper is divided into 4 equal parts
~ open out
~ fold in half lengthways
~ open out
~ fold in half across width and cut from centre fold to second fold
~ open out, flatten and fold into book form

My favourite project of 2025 was working towards the group exhibition Metamorphosis @ridgebank . Such a wonderful experience meeting with creative people once a month to talk through ideas and have the opportunity to percolate and cogitate together. For me this resulted in a votive offering to an oak tree and gall wasps ... Making an installation that consists of iron gall ink, gilded oak galls, steel mortars (forged by Ambrose Burne) and books of works which would originally have been written in iron gall ink.
